I think it's a classic ref thinking "leave it to VAR", and the VAR not thinking it's clear and obvious enough. Basically the fundamental flaw of the system.

It's weird how it's all so obvious and all known at the time, therefore nothing will come of it despite actual evidence. Pretty much sums up this country.

Daft isn't it, had they got this last year which was feasible given the timescale of the breaches they'd have been down. This time round they'll likely stay up, they're only 2 points from safety. Webb did though, he explained that both should have been reds, as did the panel last week. He thinks so, they think so, you think so, I think so, it's a stinker of a decision to miss it and he should have been sent off That doesn't change the fact it was minutes after he'd just seen one of his team mates snapped in two by a foul with far more intent and potential to injure. The panel was unanimous that it was a red. Ref gets that right and the second doesn't happen, and while that doesn't excuse Bruno I can understand his anger. He's a chewy little bastard.

It's a clear red, to the extent it's as bad a ref miss as inexplicably forgetting to book a player for taking a shirt off, but I think it's fairly clear they were lenient off the back of bottling Havertz. It's a petulant flap, if you asked me which of those I'd rather be "assaulted" by it's Bruno's every time, and that's pretty much what the independent panel concluded.

On one hand I quite enjoyed hearing what that VAR process was in the excruciating 4 minutes of not having a clue stood up in the East Stand, but on the other making Michael Owen cry is brilliant. That VAR show has everything.

What's the financial difference between pre and post Disney+? Appreciate there's a pandemic in there to muddle things, but I've personally only seen Guardians 3 in the cinema since I signed up, there's little motivation when you know you can watch it on tv 2 months later. Honestly wouldn't surprise me too much if they snuck it out for Christmas. I'm looking forward to it, but I can wait.

Yep that was absurd. We're in a ridiculous situation where a wrongly given free kick or corner can lead directly to a goal, but 20 seconds of open play with opportunities for the defending team to deal with it don't matter. I'm not even convinced it's a handball under the current law anyway, bounces of his chest onto his arm which is in a natural position, so to be disallowed for that so far back is insane. Would love to see the VAR discussion on it. Get a club statement out.
