  1. I laughed out loud when Cartman regurgitated his underwear and coolly dropped "That's where I put those" and again when he took a dump on Garrison's desk to get out of the fight. Much better episode than last week.
  2. Agreed. Hated the Britney episode. Don't think I laughed a single time.
  3. I enjoyed it, but the scene referencing The Accused and the zoom on Lucas' cum face... yeah, that felt like a little bit too much
  4. Stupid corrupt download stopped 1/3 of the way through
  5. Where are people finding season three? I thought it didn't air for another few weeks?
  6. I must be the only person on earth who doesn't like Monk...

  8. Yeah, read that too. I'd watch.
  9. Just finished The Pillars of Earth and have moved on to its sequel, World Without End. I really enjoyed Pillars. A good, largely historically accurate read with some compelling characters, a few infuriating villains, and some shocking deaths to keep it interesting. Will be interesting to see how the book set 200 years later goes.
  10. Anybody else catch this? Not too bad. Feels a little like House in that its got a rule breaking lead, but he's a little less misanthropic and a little more theatric. Always had a soft spot for Simon Baker, and Amanda Righetti is all kinds of hot. Just not sure if it's different enough from other crime shows to really take off. I'll enjoy it while it lasts, though.
  11. The shitty ass copy I found cut out the last line of dialogue! Who did House call and what did he say!?
  12. Just got through the first two episodes and enjoyed it quite a bit. It certainly has an X-Files feel to it, but a little faster paced and a little less dense. Walter Bishop is far and away the most intriguing character on the show, but Patrick showed signs of something interesting in the second episode as well. Not sold you on Olivia, but hopefully in time she'll flesh out to be more than just a tortured woman in a man's world.
  13. Reading The Pillars of Earth right now. It's quite fascinating reading about the running of the Church and state in the 12th century, and it's written in a fairly accessible way. Not too dense or philosophical. I'm diggin' it.
  14. Of course not. I scene skimmed to see what they'd used. It ends just as Corben and Lelu are about to board the ship to the planet where the stones are supposed to be. This alien dude has sex with Lelu and the ticket lady, then Corben comes and chases him off - and then it ends with the priest and his apprentice in the bar.
  15. No complaints from me. Wilson is my favourite character after House.
  16. Wilson and House's dysfunctional relationship is one of my favourite parts of the show. I'll be sorry to see less of it
  17. I just watched The Sexth Element, which sticks remarkably close to the movie (The Fifth Element) before abruptly ending. Crazy shit.
  18. I can only comment on House, which doesn't ever seem to struggle too much. The fourth season and all of its new cast make it interesting.
  19. Watched Tropic Thunder last night. Enjoyed it quite a bit, as I'd expected. 8.5 out of 10 Also watched 1408. It was better than your average horror, but nothing I'd watch again - John Cusack awesomeness aside. 7 out of 10
  20. Prison Break is turning lame. I was super excited about it returning, and now I've struggled to sit through the first two episodes
  21. It's back, it's back, it's back!
  22. I'm reading A Storm of Swords from the A Song of Fire & Ice series, which I've been absolutely plowing through in recent weeks. It's a pity nobody here has the fourth book Preparing to move on to Pillars of Earth and World Without End next. A mate was so keen for me to read them that he paid the $60 to order them for me from Amazon.
  23. Chuck was right up there alongside Life and Pushing Daisies as the best of last year's new crop. Liked Journeyman and Reaper too, although the former has been canned I'm most excited about the return of Chuck to my TV/PC
  24. I really enjoyed the first season, but it did tend to get a bit lame and melodramatic as it went on. Mary Louise Parker is hawtness, though.
  25. I'd agree with that analysis. Season One was near flawless in terms of narrative and tension, but season two seemed to be a little scattered and confusing. Season Three wasn't anywhere near the first, but it was a damn side better than 'On the Run' or whatever the hell Australian networks decided to dub it.
