  1. Saddened me to learn they were done 'supporting' the game, but I've still got Dragonborn and Dawnguard to play through - so there's plenty of unfinished business for me.
  2. I certainly don't think the similarities between the arrows in Arya's target dummy and the quarrels in Ros' corpse are mere chance. The GoT writers have done a great job in the past of linking themes together, and there is a certain 'darkness' to Arya's desire to kill those she feels have wronged her. She's not as sadistic or as insane as Joffrey, but there's no 'good' serial killers >_> Loved the recent episode, but the new measuring stick (for me) was the episode prior. That Jaime monologue alone was a series highlight for me.
  3. I have four hours in a computer lab today and nowhere to post the diary I'm working on >_

Tumblr is also blocked in China. My life is hard.

  4. My girlfriend is ordering me Munchkin and a few expansions for Christmas. Keen to get my game on again. Tried to sell her on getting me Chez Geek and Cards Against Humanity as well, but no dice.
  5. 10. Diablo III 9. FIFA 13 8. The Witcher - Assassin of Kings 7. 007 Legends 6. Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition 5. Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage? 4. Guild Wars 2 3. Dishonored 2. Magic the Gathering - Duel of the Planeswalkers 2013 1. The Walking Dead
  6. 35. Gravity Falls - Had never heard of it. Looks intriguing. 34. Once Upon A Time - I have external genitalia, so it interests me naught. 33. QI - Need to watch it 32. American Horror Story - Trashy and stupid. Mindlessly fun. 31. True Blood - My ex forced me to watch it and I got occasional kicks out of it. Stopped watching after we broke up. 30. Castle - I love me some Nathan Fillion and the chick gets my freak juice flowing, but not into police procedural drama stuff. 29. New Girl - Never seen it. 28. Modern Family - Started watching recently. Makes me chuckle. 27. The League - One of my top three comedies. Religiously watch it. Sole reason I started an NFL fantasy comp this year. 26. 30 Rock - Haven't watched in a while but always enjoy it when I do.
  7. So far none of the shows I watch religiously on the list, but that doesn't surprise me. I have fantastic taste I do enjoy Don't Trust the B*tch, although I've yet to see season two. Big fan of the actresses involved and the weirdness that is James van der Beek being himself on steroids. Just started watching Revolution and will now go off to find Treme and Shameless - which I do not know. Not surprised to see The Office dipping - it's been a while since it felt like fun to me. I burned myself out on Burn Notice as well. Watched three or four seasons at a trot last year and just killed it. Hoping to see Archer, Community, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, AHS, and a few of my other faves appearing soon.
  8. I've read a blog where a guy is playing as a pure illusionist. No combat spells - only illusions. Intriguing premise, but I can't imagine it's much fun.
  9. I noticed that 2011 or 2012 did seem to at least make it look like other countries were bidding, but I didn't see much variation in terms of hosts. I don't care that it's not a feature of the game proper, but being able to edit it would be fun. Hell, I'd love to run a 40 team World Cup...
  10. Australia not looking at all good under another in a long line of unimaginative coaches determined to run the same squad that did the job at Germany in 2006. Jordan won 2-1 and played hard for it, but God we were awful. Aimless passes, long-balls into the box, sloppy challenges, and a generally dismal attitude. Neill has no right to be in the team the way he's played of late, the insistence that Valeri is our new Grella, the fact Harry Kewell still has no club, Marco Bresciano and Cahill not playing at the same level they used to, and a refusal to blood quality young guys is just killing us. Away to Iraq next and a loss there puts us five points off second place. Three of our final four games are at home, but something's gotta change if we want to avoid the South American playoff.
  11. The immersion mods do look good. I've also liked a few that have added the ambient life that the game tends to lack. People wandering the roads, more bandits, adventuring groups, a more diverse ecosystem etc. It's a shame there aren't any of the amazing Unique Landscapes mods that really shone in Oblivion.
  12. I own(ed) HM 2 and HM 3. Quite liked them, although the limited actor/actress database made it a bit difficult to make movies late in the piece. Would love to see this come to fruition.
  13. Played through the first episode the other day and was hooked. I dig the character interactions and the style of play. Feels almost like an episode (or an issue of the graphic novel). Really tough choosing who lived or died too. Should get onto episodes two and three. I keep getting distr- Ooh shiny!
  14. Every year they come out and I pray they'll make international coaching a bit more interesting. I still think it'd be aces to be able to bid for the World Cup as the national coach. A bit of fun to see it all unfold on home soil or Burkina Fasoan soil, if that's your thing. Hell, I'd take the ability to be able to edit the damned World Cup.
  15. Dusted this one off recently after my work put me out in the boondocks for a month. Racked up a hefty 150 hours since then and quite enjoyed it. Installed a few mods I quite like (Monster Mod and Civil War are my favorites) and beefed up the graphics as well. Then, I corrupted my save game and had to start again. Suddenly less into it :-/
  16. Anybody else playing this? I just picked it up two days ago and I'm enjoying it so far. Similar enough to WoW (which basically defines the MMORPG genre, for better or worse) so as to not have a huge learning curve - but different enough to stand on its own. I like the race/profession mix, the more experimental approach to crafting, and the way your skills change based on what weapon you choose to equip. Pretty impressed by the way the world feels a little more alive, but the dynamic questing does get a bit repetitive when you've seen the same events trigger a few times in 24 hours. I'm on Ehrmy Bay if anybody else is playing.
  17. That's pretty much the deal maker for me.
  18. I don't know anybody who does. She's from Annapolis.
  19. A friend of mine has told me I should support the Baltimore Ravens with her. I am inclined to do this solely because she lets me see her goodies. How are they looking as a team? The Ravens, not her breasts
  20. I'm keen to follow the NFL this year (for the first time). Help me choose a team to support! Also, anybody running or participating a fantasy football comp they need an extra guy for? I've found that tracking fantasy stats etc makes the game more interesting in most sports, and I like to imagine there'll be The League style antics if I join one >_>
  21. Fuck yes! City! Not a City fan, but got a soft spot for them due to my brothers both being die hard fans. Would have been a shame to see them fall at the final hurdle. Congrats to the Sky Blues on joining a very small group. Commiserations to QPR. Thankfully Bolton's draw means they avoid the drop anyway.
