  1. Yes you should watch it. No matter how many people say it's confusing as hell and tailor made for people with ADD, I still love it. Here's another.... Training Day.
  2. The only one I can think of is Sixth Sense.... But everyone and their mother has seen that movie.
  3. Off the top of my head... 36 Crazyfists - Bitterness The Star Metallica - Master of Puppets Sevendust - Animosity Nonpoint - Development Our Lady Peace - Clumsy Finger Eleven - Greyest of Blue Skies Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine I usually don't listen to an old CD from start to finish very often (because eventually you've heard every song a ton of times and just want to get to the ones you have an itch to listen to) but I could easily listen to any of these albums without skipping a track.
  4. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - Creepin' On Ah Come Up Bones Thugs-N-Harmony - E. 1999 Eternal (those are the two best Bone Thugs albums, IMO) Wu-Tang Clan - Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) Method Man - Tical Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Ol' Dirty Bastard - Return To The 36 Chambers Redman - Whut? Thee Album Ice Cube - Lethal Injection Ice Cube - Death Certificate 2Pac - Strictly For My N.I.G.G.A.Z. 2Pac - 2Pacalypse Now Cypress Hill - Cypress Hill Cypress Hill - Black Sunday

Xzibit - Bitch Please Meh, I could go on but I got bored... I think all those songs are worth a listen though.
  6. Joey is a pretty good show. Still, the best Joey moments came from Friends when Chandler would play off Joey's stupidity.
  7. Man... I wish I had a concert to go to. An amazing concert is the greatest thing ever. I'm still kicking myself for passing on that Rise Against concert last year. Fuck. I envy you two.
  8. Technically Metallica only has two of it's original members, Lars and James. Dave Mustaine left and Kirk joined the group prior to the recording of Kill 'Em All. It depends on how you look at it.
  9. RATM's Live at the Grand Olympic Auditorium is awesome, IMO. I also like Jimi Hendrix: Live at Berkeley. I'm thinking of getting that show on DVD, I saw it at HMW the other day and nearly bought it but passed at the last second.
  10. Reception Fades by Rise Against It's not actually about the media, but the lyrics can be interpreted that way if you really think about it. Watch The Right by Anti-Flag can kinda pass for being about the media I guess, though it's actually about the government and the feds and so forth, like most Anti-Flag songs. But the opening line itself could make it seem like it has something to do with the media. "It’s on the radio, it’s on the TV news...". Hell, I doubt anyone will even be able to understand the rest of the song, save for that line and possibly the chrous.
  11. Good stuff t3h_G0dZ, an awesome post. And I don't say that often (mainly because it makes me sound like a homo erotic message board nerd). I'm not knocking fineintent (I like the guy), but I agree 110% with everything said in that essay...ahem... I mean post.
  12. I love Metallica. I have for a long time now. I prefer Master Of Pupperts over Ride The Lightning, because a) it was the first 80's Metallica album a got (the first Metallica album I got was Load) and B) the title track (Master Of Puppets) is one of my all time favorite Metallica songs. I like everything Metallica did, sans maybe St. Anger. Even if a lot of people loathe their 90's material, I still love that stuff. People complain about how they changed in the 90's, but if anything, it extended their shelf life, IMO. There are a lot of folks that piss me off with the whole "you sold out thing", and that goes for most bands that achieve mainstream success. They alter their style and/or image a tinge to keep themselves fresh and maybe appeal to a more mainstream audience. Nothing is wrong with that. As for Metallica specifically, sure the first four albums were stellar, but who's to say if they released their next 5 albums with the exact same style the same people wouldn't be bitching about how all their shit sounded the same? Personally, I give them kudos for doing what they did in the 90's, even if it spawned a legion of anti-fans.
  13. Card for UFC 52 is up at MMA Weekly. It was announced at the post event press conference after UFC 51.
  14. I'm just happy Tanner has a belt. I mean, this was his 12th or 13th in the UFC. He's a real UFC vet who usually gets over looked. Everybody was saying how Terrell was the next big thing and this would be like a changing of the guard from old to new, but I had a feeling that Tanner would come out champ. Good for Evan, he's been on a roll with 4 straight wins. He is the man to beat in the middleweight division. I wonder who his first defense will be against... Hopefully a rematch against Rich Franklin. I also hope he eventually crosses pathes with former team mate Matt Lindland... now that would be interesting. And Arlovski is THE MAN to beat in the UFC heavyweight division. End of discussion. Then again, that's not saying much given the UFC's HW talent pool's depth right now. Fuck it, I say bring back Pedro Rizzo to go with Arlovski. If Andrei can trade with Pedro and get the better, then and only then will I start to compare him with the best HW's in the world (I would love for Pedro to come back to UFC, but I don't see it happening). Because face it, Tim Sylvia and Frank Mir (if he beats him) are great fighters, but are have hardly proven they are on the world class scale with the guys across the pond in Japan. So he beats Mir to soldify him as THE champ. Who's next? Mike Kyle? No disrespect to Mike Kyle, but let's get serious here....
  15. RESULTS OF UFC 51! SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SSEEN IT YET! Well, I was ready to watch the show, but I ended up going to my cousins housee paerty instead. I,m still a little tipsy, so excuse my spelling mistakess if I make any. These resulyts are from my friend who watched the event.... Nick Diaz over Drew Fickett via TKO by strikes at 4:40 of the 1st round Karo Parysian over Chris Lytle via judge decision David Loiseau over Gideon Ray via doctor stoppage after the 1st round (YAY!) Mike Kyle over James Irvin via KO at 1:55 of the first round Paul Buentello over Justin Eilers via KO at 2:34 of the 1st round Evan Tanner over David Terrell via TKO by strikes at :30 of the 1st round Andrei Arlovski over Tim Sylvia via submission (ankle lock) at of the 1st round Pete Sell over Phil via submission in the 3rd round (not sure about the time, but in the dying moments in the 3rd Tito Ortiz over Vitor Belfort via split decision credit: my buddy who watched the fight... NOOOOOOO! MY BELFORT! DAMNIT! Apparently he was winning the fight until the middle of the second btu ended up gasssing and Tito took over! Shit. Fuck. My buddy told me that Tito called out Ken Shamrock and Randy Couture after the fight. I guess Tito will resign with UFC and Belfort will go off to PRIDE and try to get that fight with Silva. DAMN!!!!! Well, there were some good points by looking at the results. Tanner wins a wel deserved title and Loiseau picks up a win. But fuck, Vitor lost! Oh well, good for Tito. I was 1-2 in my predictions for Tanner/Terrell, Sylvia/Arlovski, and Tito/Belfort. Bah! At UFC 52, Chuck Liddell will get Randy Couture in a rematch for the UFC LHW title. Since Chuck is my favorite fighter in the UFC, I'll be rooting the hell out of him. SPOILERS OVER!
  16. Wasn't Titus getting decent ratings on Fox before the network flip flopped their time slot? Maybe? Maybe not... I just remember loving the show.
  17. As much as I loved the game, but I found it to be pretty easy. But I was alway Haggar in single player, so maybe he was just a kick ass guy. I like tag team because that was the only time Scorp was playable. Nobody beats the tag team of Scorp and Jumbo!
  18. I agree with you about Belfort, he'll have focus his emotion to work for him, not against him. Also, Vitor's sister has been gone for over a year, not that it makes it any better but I think he has had time to get over the intial sadness and frustration. I'm not saying it's not still a big deal, because it is. I'm saying he has had the time to clear his head of enough of it when preparing for a fight. I hope. He seems to have some goals set, so that's a good sign that his head is still in the game. An upated card for PRIDE 29: Fists of Fury has been announced on the official PRIDE website....
  19. Holy shit! There's another one! I need both these game right now! And KussenKDogg, Sergei Fedorov is an actually person, a Russian hockey player to be exact.... Just incase you didn't know that and thought I made the name up. He just looked like Sergei so I called him that.
  20. I don't actually listen to the Rat Pack, but I know enough to stand by the fact that Frank was the man. And I'm a fan of Crystal Method. Not a big fan or anything, but I enjoy myself some Crystal Meth at least once or twice every few days.
