Denmark is also the team that have lost most Euro Championship matches over time. And we've never won an opening match. Still 1-0 is quite impressive. If that holds up i will gladly eat my words about how shitty the team is. Krohn Dehli and Poulsen have played quite good today :-)

That team at least had Peter Schmeichel and Brian Laudrup, what does this team have? only one real striker, who scored more off the pitch than on it the past season (Bendtner), a young surefire talent from the Eredivisie with a recent form slump (Eriksen) and a defence where only Daniel Agger is really doing well. Lets not forget that the coach rather sees Stephan Andersen from Evian in goal than Anders Lindegaard from Man U. Mix that up with the one of the worst possible group draws, a coach who plays hedgehog football (defending 1-0 leads and so on) And of course the lack of alternatives to players who shouldnt be there (Christian Poulsen) or haven't performed well enough, case in point Bendtner who looked anything than the player he brags about being against Australia recently. I would love nothing more, than to be proven wrong by the national side. But i think it looks more like Euro 2000 or Euro 1996, than it looks like Euro 2004 or Euro 1992. I do not hate my country, so that you can take back. But i do not like what im seeing of the national side, and havent done so for the past 6 years

Should be cheering for Denmark (Danish and all) but likely won't be (team being shit and all). I go with Germany as that is the only domestic league i follow to some degree these days. Oh and roll on Portugal - Netherlands III

We have a very bad group We have a weak coach Our attack is Nicklas Bendtner with no real alternatives Our goalie got knocked up against brazil That being said. We came with a no good team on a forfeit some 20 years ago and won the bloody thing, beating the reigning world and euro champs along the way (its still real to me ) The Netherlands are gonna beat us silly. Germany too. Portugal: well, we made them look bad last time, so they're probably out for redemption. 3x defeat and a score of 0-11 is what i predict Also, is there still bad blodd between Netherlands and Portugal after the 2006 scrap?
