If you want the trophy that bad, and don't care about kind of cheating the system a little bit, just do what I mentioned. I did it in about 10 minutes or so. As Reigns, all I pretty much ever did was the running heavy attack, maybe another heavy grapple attack, and then whipped them over the ropes. Sometimes they went easy, sometimes I had to spear or knock them off with a side attack. But other than two times I never had more than two people in the ring besides me.

    WWE 2K23

I'm currently prepapring a mostly in-game Universe mode with WCW, ECW and WWF as the brands and I've only downloaded (this time) MJF, Terry Funk, Raven, RVD, Malakai Black and a ECW Women's title. So far, so good. Since we were talking about the Rumble trophy earlier: I'm turning down the difficulty to Easy, using Roman Reigns, and filling a Rumble with the lowest rated wrestlers to try and get either the elimination or start from #1 trophy (or both). EDIT: aaaand it worked, got both trophies and it only took like 10 minutes.

If you have more than 280 images, that's likely what's doing it. Delete them using Online > Community Creations > Image Manager > Local > Deletion Utility and not just the regular deletion utility. I did that the first time and I still had tons of images that were just sitting there unused from previous CAWs. Hopefully today's patch fixes this. The more customized and fully detailed a CAW is, the more likely it is that it has a lot of images being used just for that one model. Same with arenas, titles, etc.

Do you have any CAWs? Too many images can cause the game to crash even when not in Universe and selecting them, arenas, titles, etc to use in exhibition matches.

patch coming out tomorrow, hopefully it fixes the bug where too many images from CAWs and whatnot crashes the game. Also - MyFaction is being weird. It keeps saying I don't have an internet connection, then it'll connect after like the third try, I can do a match, then after the match I get the same error. Rinse, repeat. At least I don't lose progress, but still. Kind of annoying.

Oh boy. I've had at least 8 crashes so far in maybe an hour and a half of playing. First few times was after I downloaded Defract's Omega, that probably put me over that image limit that causes crashes in Universe. So I deleted all CAWs, areans, titles, etc except for 4 CAWs (Omega, Christian, Jericho and Moxley). Still crashed. So I deleted those four, and still no change. I went back into the game, and was tabbing through stuff like custom MITB briefcases and stuff just to make sure nothing was left - crashed just tabbing through the deletion utility. Every other mode works, I just did some MyFACTION stuff while listening to William Regal's Talk is Jericho episode. A patch is needed for the Universe/image cap ASAP, man. EDIT: So, if anyone has this bug even after deleting everything: I found a comment on r/WWEGames that said to go into Online > Community Creations > Image Manager > Local > Deletion Utility and clear out any unused images. I've got no CAWs, arenas, nothing - and I had like 270 unused images. Good lord.
  7. Amazon has bought MGM Studios for $8 billion.
  8. I was so incredibly hyped for Forbidden West, but then the Cyberpunk PS5 version dropped (and it's not bad!), WWE 2K22 came out, and I've discovered a game called ANNO: Mutationem that releases in two hours and I'll most likely buy. I'll get to Horizon again eventually, but I was honestly waiting on some patches to be pushed out to fix a few things. And since launch, I think they've released like... three patches? So it might be time to jump back into it, probably.

Yeah, Defract is incredible and has been for a while now. I remember he had pretty good stuff on 2K19, too. There's also a guy (WhatsTheStatus, I think?) that is making and uploading characters that are exclusive to the MyFACTION mode, or MyRISE - Alexa Bliss in non-Fiend or whatever attire, regular Nikki Cross, 1997 Shawn Michaels, 1998 Triple H, etc. I know Reddit is a cesspool but r/WWEGames is a pretty good source to find some incredible CAWs.
  10. This was announced today at the ID@Xbox showcase. It’s coming to pretty much every platform. Jeff Jarrett and Booker T were on the “panel” after the trailer, along with the head of the studio.
  11. Sydney Sweeney has been cast in Sony's Madame Web movie.
  12. Some of them felt a little flat, but then some of them (like with the, I guess, guidance counselor?) was Iman being 100% Kamala. I'm okay with the powers and stuff - it doesn't give me Green Lantern vibes so that's good, but if the rumored villains are true then they'll have to tread lightly (and it's already bad enough that the villains aren't even Ms. Marvel ones). The Inventor is right there and is goofy enough for a show like this to fit and be pretty perfect.
  13. June 8th I'm not hating the powers now that I've seen them (somewhat) in live action. The vibes and presentation of this trailer is awesome, too. But that last shot, man. Yes. I'm in, 100%. Ms. Marvel is my favorite character so I was already going to watch this, but that trailer got me hyped as fuck.

Defract and Dre41 are pretty great creators, off the top of my head.

I'm having longer, more difficult matches with the difficulty turned up to Legend, but I still win every match. In MyRISE, I beat the piss out of Chyna in basically a squash, but then in the Performance Center, my character and Beth Phoenix had like a legit 25 minute match that was... actually pretty good, and fun. Her & I both were bruised to shit when it finally ended (I love that too, the bruises and stuff after so much punishment or particular strikes). I'm gonna have to search to see if anyone has tinkered with the sliders yet, I always do that in every WWE game if I end up buying it. Legend is hard, but it's not impossible or anything. But, watch - as I say that, when I try to get the trophy for beating Reigns on legend difficulty, it'll suddenly turn into a nigh impossible task and I'll break a controller. Other random stuff: MyGM would be more fun if it had more than just 1v1 and 2v2. And only a men's and women's top title. And more space on the card instead of just two promos and three matches. And if I could see the history of what I've booked in the past. Nice start, it could be so much better though. I still think these games with MyGM are predisposed to have RAW win, though. MyFaction is a fun twist on the towers mode, which I actually enjoyed in 2K19 (didn't play 2K20 so no idea if it made a comeback). I've unlocked a few more cards just by using the in-game (in-mode?) currency. It'll be grindy, but whatever. It's fun. MyRISE definitely has its problems, but I can see myself actually finishing a career mode for the first time in a WWE game in a LONG time. Don't really like how the stories work in that mode either, you kind of just go from "story" to "story", it's kind of weird. I went from tagging with fellow Booker T trainee Ember Moon/Athena against my PC rival and that superfan wrestler lady, to suddenly talking to HBK about doing mocap for the next WWE video game. And that was a "storyline" - just wrestling Raquel Gonzalez while we're both in mocap suits. Ehhhh. Universe is apparently a glitchy mess right now. Going over a certain size of data or 99 (I think?) images crashes the game. I was making an AEW Dynamite show in Universe, previewed the arena... and the game crashed. I'm sure they'll patch it sometime soon, apparently this was also a thing in 2K20 but they fixed it pretty fast. Once this all is fixed, I'm interested in the Superstar mode or whatever. Gameplay wise, this is a definite upgrade. I thought I'd hate the combo stuff, but I don't. And I love how much more fluid a match seems to be now. I've seen videos on Reddit (and it's happened to me as well) where some moves kind of just flow together. Hard to explain unless you notice it yourself, but it's great. Although, it's weird that my character in MyRISE is a legit cruiserweight, and she was overhead suplexing Nia Jax. The collision detection between - what I've seen to be mainly the female models - is pretty bad. BARELY making contact when you bodyslam or suplex or whatever someone. Like, they'll go for a headlock to get them ready for a suplex, and you can an entirely different person's head inbetween where your character's arm is and your opponent's head, that much space. Absolutely didn't have that problem when I've played as Balor against KUSHIDA, or in the tutorial as Rey against Riddle.
  16. The documentary on Kanye that's on Netflix, jeen-yuhs, is pretty incredible. All told it's basically an almost 4(ish) hour documentary that chronicles Ye's early struggles trying to become more than just a producer, and shows exactly what fame can do to a person - especially if that's what the person in question wants the most. Donda dying (Ye's mom) is kind of his breaking point, clearly, and he suffers in silence for years pretty much, getting more erratic and out of control. There's a point in the third part where Ye is meeting with some real estate developers in the Dominican Republic about building a church for his Sunday Service choir, and Ye goes off on some scattered rant, talking about how he's Deadpool and the media is trying to kill him. It's... really sad, and rightfully so, Coodie (the director) feels uncomfortable recording this because it's becoming apparent that he's in a manic episode - and when Ye gets back to the US after that DR meeting/recording session, he does the political rally where he's wearing a bulletproof vest and breaks down crying talking about abortion. The first two parts are the most interesting, since Coodie is around. It's basically Ye's beginnings, and then the recording and release of College Dropout. It's fascinating to watch people like Dame Dash not take him seriously as a rapper, while people like Pharrell, Ludacris and Scarface are giving him the co-sign. Third part isn't nearly as good, but it's also super uncomfortable to watch since it's about the years where Kanye was mega famous, and then going down a spiral after Donda dies - and Coodie isn't there to document a lot of seminal moments, both because Ye is a megastar, and Coodie has his own life to live and decided to move on after he was left behind around 2005.

I'm probably gonna cave and get this on Friday. I watched Pulse play two matches, Xavier Woods do Mysterio/Guerrero from Halloween Havoc, and DenkOps do a little bit of MyRISE and... goddamnit, I'm interested. Career mode doesn't seem completely fucking stupid and wacky like 2K20, and the concept of the combo strikes and shit doesn't rub me the wrong way as much as it did. Plus, Community Creations aren't locked behind a specific console (right?), and the whole "add a render for the match screen for your CAW" is honestly pretty awesome. Someone explain MyFaction to me, since I haven't seen any YouTube videos on it, and I don't play sports games so this mode is lost on me.

    GTA VI

I'm still confused about GTA Online being free for 3 months. Do I have to pay for it after those three months, or is that just the freebie window time and anyone that doesn't claim it by June has to pay after that? According to leaks on Reddit where it's somehow appeared on the PS Store days before pre-order - you're right. Everything is the same for Xbox too, except for GTA Online being free until June.
  19. Control. I'd recommend actually playing Astro's Playroom that's already on your console. I heard Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is good. Miles Morales/Spider-Man Remastered. Kena, Sifu... Ghostwire: Tokyo comes out in a few weeks, so there's that. Both Horizon games if you haven't played those. Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 are getting PS5 versions this year, too. I was in the same boat as you, going from PS4 to a digital PS5. It's insane that they don't allow you to claim games you already clearly owned - although, Respawn did let people do that for the PS4 -> PS5 upgrade for Fallen Order if you had a physical copy and bought a digital PS5. I thought that was cool, and I haven't seen any other studios offer that.

I hope this game does well, because if it doesn't, there is a real possibility that WWE moves their games over to EA and nobody wants that.
  21. Yeah the Panam tag-along is my preferred way to end the game, but I won't do that until I clear the map. Then I'll do the other endings to get the trophies.
  22. On the flip side, although you can’t run PS5 games from an external drive (even if it is an SSD) - the read times make it moving games back and forth pretty simple. I use one for my Xbox and I can transfer like 10 games in 5 minutes, whereas using just a regular HDD on the PS5 it takes a LONG time for just one game, much less multiple, big games. Just in case you don’t want to spend like $200 or whatever on an SSD internal card and can find an external SSD for cheap.
  23. It's honestly not bad. If you can get a physical copy for a real cheap price, it's well worth it. I'm locked to the digital storefronts, so I paid $25, and I've put almost 50 hours into it. BUT - that said, those 50 hours was doing a lot of side quests and random shit to extend the game. Because you can absolutely blast through the story in like, 10 hours. If not less. The side stuff is absolutely important if you want to get the most out of the game, but that's also kind of cheap too. Originally I wasn't going to do the final mission until I cleared the map, but then I learned once you beat the game, the map suddenly shows EVERYTHING, so I did that. But there's like six endings, depending on what you've done in the game once you reach that mission, so. I've done two so far: This game REALLY needs more content, not just lame DLC like jackets and shit. Completing NCPD radar stuff and the gigs in each territory will only last for so long, and then I'm completely done (besides wanting to see all the possible endings with the choices I've made).
  24. I'm fine with that, honestly. I've had 2 sitting on my harddrive for a few months, and a PS5 version is a good reason to start. And 3 is only like $15 right now in the PS store, and it's been on my wishlist for a minute... might be time to grab it. I've also never played those two, so, yeah. I'll wait a little bit longer. Not exactly a game I need in 60fps or anything, so 4K with ray tracing and shit sounds excellent.
  25. If anyone owns Resident Evil 2, 3 and/or 7 - Capcom announced all three of them are getting PS5/Xbox Series upgrades later in the year, for free. They specifically call the upgrades, "visual enhancements" though, so it's probably just resolution upgrades (but 2 and 3 already look fucking stellar, so, I don't know).
