  1. Final Fantasy 7 (Remake) is what people always suggest, but I've always loved FF10.
  2. Kotick is the face of Activision/Blizzard’s PR nightmare. If anyone goes, it’d be him. And you know he’ll willingly leave, because he’ll have a golden parachute waiting for him when he does. He’s already being pretty vague about his future with the company in the press today.
  3. Bobby Kotick probably won’t leave Activision until at least the end of next year, if that even happens. The acquisition won’t close until sometime late this year or early 2023.
  4. I would imagine COD would go to a timed exclusive for Xbox after current contracts with Sony expire, but we also all thought Bethesda titles would be cross platform after they were bought and Phil Spencer has clarified that’s not going to be the case. Plus I don’t think Microsoft cares about millions in sales a year when this is pretty much ONLY about making Gamepass stronger. Millions of dollars a year in sales is a drop in the bucket, surely.
  5. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition just got added to Gamepass out of nowhere.
  6. I thought for sure @livid was posting in here to lament the fact that BROCKHAMPTON cancelled their tour and are going on an indefinite hiatus
  7. I have no sense of when these things air, or even how they get away with saying fuck and whatnot, so thanks for the clarification. FWIW, that BFQ of Everything I posted... I didn't like it so much. Not nearly as much as the BFQ of the Year for 2021. And I like Jonathan Ross, maybe it's because I haven't seen him in a whole hell of a lot besides these things.
  8. Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2021 was really good. I'm watching the 2020 edition right now, it's not as good when Jonathan Ross isn't there but Richard Ayoade and Katherine Ryan are here, so it all works out!
  9. apparently New Blood is the most watched Showtime series ever, which honestly surprises me given how terrible the last few seasons were. People really love Dexter and wanted that show to be redeemed, I guess. I'll probably finish the season (limited series?) sometime this week. The first episode didn't really hook me in all that much, but I'll give it another chance - the first episodes are usually the tough ones to get through anyway. I still need to finish S5 of Search Party. I think I might have had the ending spoiled for me, and if that's true - I need to see how they get to that point, because it honestly sounds fucking crazy.
  10. boy, Search Party S5 is real weird and fucked up. I thought the previous season was odd but this takes it to a whole different level that I didn’t see coming AT ALL.
  11. It's three times the resolution in each eye (2000x2040) than what the PSVR1 had, and this has 4K HDR. The controllers are more akin to what all the other VR rigs have (via patents filed by Sony, but they also showed silhouettes of them), but with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback (also in the headset) just like the DualSense. I mean, honestly, they had me at Horizon: Call of the Mountain, because I'm a HUGE fan of Horizon. I mean I pre-ordered the $200 collector's edition of Forbidden West...
  12. I just watched this episode like two nights ago. Damn

    WWE 2K23

I'm still upset that I can't find 2K19, digitally, for a good price. Like, not even on websites like Newegg or CDKeys. I'm not surprised the Xbox/Playstation stores won't discount it - although it IS on PS Now.
  14. That's weird, since one of the writers went on Twitter and said that they filmed (and cut) a post-credit scene with the Tracksuit Mafia and the owl. Either they filmed a lot of potential credit scenes, or someone is lying.
  15. r/gamedeals on Reddit is almost exclusively PC stuff. Wario64 on Twitter sometimes does Epic/Steam/Windows deals, but his thing is mainly Switch/Sony/Xbox deals (and action figures, books, movies, etc).
  16. It definitely wasn't what I thought it would be going in. At times it felt like the movie was backhanding the people that have co-opted terms like NPCs, redpilling, the Matrix itself, etc. Which I can get behind, 100%. My only complaint, really, was the use of Brass Against in the end credits. I said it on DVDVR, but - I love them, but that's usually at like 3am watching their shit on YouTube, not in a big budget movie. It just sounds SO out of place. They couldn't have payed Denzel Curry to cover "Wake Up"? C'mon. Oh and I don't like Neil Patrick Harris in basically anything, so I didn't like him in this movie either. But yeah, I actually really liked it.
  17. Dirt 5, Persona 5 Strikers and Deep Rock Galactic are the games on PS Plus next month.
  18. I'm gonna be honest, I really didn't care about that. Now, more Tony Dalton as Jack? Uh, yes please!
  19. All the season finale of Hawkeye really did is make me want to see the Echo show right now. Man, I love that character so much.
  20. If my PS5 is anything to go by, moving a game back and forth to a plain ol' HDD takes a good bit of time, depending on the file size. I use an SSD for my Series S, and it's lighting quick. But buying an SSD is just about as expensive as buying the expansion card. I lucked out and my dad has a lot just lying around without shells. It's not THAT big of a pain, only having 500ish gigs to play with. As long as you don't go nuts downloading everything on Gamepass or buying shit. I mean, yeah, it's gonna hurt if your son wants to play Forza or the Master Chief Collection, and those are well over 100gbs, and even DOOM 2016 is like 60+ GBs, but it's manageable. Worth noting, though, that some X/S games are playable from an HDD/SSD - the Master Chief Collection, for example. It's got the X/S branding, but it loads up from the external harddrive. There's a list of X/S games on Reddit somewhere that you can store and play on an external drive. It's nothing ground breaking, just technically backwards compatible games that still have a few enhancements.
  21. You need to watch Mythic Quest immediately. And I guess Ted Lasso, too. I guess. -- Anyway, I'm on the last season of Shameless and why does everyone always say it goes down in quality in the later seasons? I've honestly liked all 10 seasons so far, even though Fiona got really annoying right before she left the show. I'm definitely on Team Lip, though. He's the most put together and mature, even moreso than Fiona. I'm about to start season 11, but I'm not too thrilled that COVID is a thing for this final season. It's really odd to watch these characters wear masks and talk about stuff we're still dealing with in reality.
