  1. I don't think it'd be a terrible idea to set movies like the Fantastic Four, X-Men, Blade, Deadpool, etc in a multiverse (at first). Fox's "official" Earth designation is 10005, so maybe these would be set in, say, Earth-10007 since they're likely to have different talent on board (except Deadpool). Treat them as separate things at first, but inevitably you're going to have to merge them - especially when your next big bad is seemingly Kang the Conqueror as of right now, and the latest MCU movie mentions incursions. But the likelihood of most of those franchises getting even one movie out before the culmination of the Kang/incursion stuff is unlikely. Blade & Deadpool, probably, but it'd be only one movie. I don't expect F4 or X-Men to have anything for a long while. I also wouldn't hate the idea of just setting the X-Men/mutants in the current day MCU, but explain they live in Krakoa and it's kind of like Wakanda, where people either believe it's 1) not a real place or 2) they believe it's something other than what it actually is (ie: Wakanda was believed to be a third world country). This is probably my preferred idea, actually.
  2. So earlier in the week I bought a NSTC-J Playstation 2 on eBay, along with three games I've wanted to play for almost 20 years: King Of Colosseum Red/Green and the sequel. And they hold up, moreso than I thought they would. I'm currently going through the Survival mode (basically a towers mode) with Kawada on Hard, after spending a day or two figuring out the controls and the timing, etc. It's insanely fun. I just had a 24 minute match with Hiroshi Hase that got an A rating. The PS2 is also modded to play US PS2 games, so I went to my local game store and picked up X-Men Legends II, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and PRIDE FC. It doesn't play US PS1 games, though, only Japanese ones. But that's okay, I have little interest in revisiting the PS1 era games.
  3. I'd be down, if anyone is interested. When the game decides to let me find a group of randoms to play with, that's how I prefer to play anyway. Doing it solo is kind of boring (and hard, sometimes!) That is, if I can pull myself away from Shadowrun Returns. Geez, what a fun and tricky game.
  4. LET'S FUCKIN' GOOOOOO! I've missed them so much Hard to believe it's been 10 years. Here is the audio, because the music video is 11 minutes of footage for an almost 3 minute song.
  5. That figure is from Samba TV, who only counts viewership for streaming services from a handful of smart TVs. It's likely higher than that. Also:
  6. I hated Bran and Sansa when I watched the show for the first time last year (earlier this year?) so I do not look forward to this. I wasn't even a huge fan of Jon Snow either. God, just talking about this is bringing up my rage about how Arya's storyline was pretty much nuked. Ughhhh. Anyway, I guess Kit Harrington just hates his free time, since he's agreeing to do this, plus he's going to have an active role in the MCU in the future as Black Knight (even if Eternals isn't the most popular IP they have - he's still going to factor into other movies and shows, for sure).
  7. Fuck that noise, I need an Arya Stark sequel series.
  8. It's just your typical superhero explanation: in the comics, Bruno regularly creates tech for Kamala. I don't know how far the show is going to go with Bruno, but in the comics he's built stuff like a miniature nuclear generator. Oh yeah, and an alien threat detector for all of New Jersey 🤣 (He also attends college in Wakanda and his best friend and roommate there is the nephew of T'Challa, which they could possibly do since the show is sitting up him turning down CalTech it seems)
  9. She argues with Kevin Feige about Earth-616 vs Earth 1-99999 and wants Lockjaw in S2. ONE OF US ONE OF US
  10. I love this show and they are knocking it out of the park. They've done my girl justice so far. Still not sold on the powers that much, but it's whatever, I'm just enjoying the ride.
  11. Jumping into Ghost of Tsushima on NG+ Hard after two years is insane, I got instantly killed at the Duel in the Drowning Marsh. Eventually passed it after like 12 tries because I forgot the controls. It's weird though, I imported my PS4 save and it's like my 100% completion never existed. It's still there in the trophies section, but on the game tab on the home screen it has like 17 trophies unlocked. Maybe because it's the PS5 version? But the last time I played was around the time of the Legends patch in 2020. I don't know, I'm pondering just starting a completely new game and going for 100% all over again. It's weird that the PS5 version of the same game has a separate trophy list.
  12. tbf they've been dipping for a while now, but not quite to Games With Gold levels yet. I got the Premium tier (Deluxe for you guys, I guess?) because there's a lot of stuff I want to buy, but don't want to spend the money on, and if it's on there for a monthly fee along with other stuff, then okay I'm in. I downloaded Lost Legacy, Deliver Me the Moon, Infamous: First Light and Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered already, and started to stream Split/Second (which is really fun!). I also need to grab Ghost of Tsushima for the DLC part of the game, and the new Ratchet & Clank. EDIT: that’s weird, I swear R&C: Rift Apart was advertised for this.
  13. Once Upon A Deadpool is a weird case, though. Nothing from this version was "missing" - it was intentionally cut to make it a PG-13 movie, had new scenes written and filmed specifically for it, and had a narrative reason for all of it (Deadpool reading a "story"/the film's plot to Fred Savage).
  14. Of course it’s full price, it’s a complete remake of the first game in the TLOU2 engine with PS5 features. And includes the Left Behind game. And according to rumors, besides the TLOU Factions 2 game, they’re working on an original IP as well.
  15. Madvillainy by MF DOOM & Madvillian Year Zero by Nine Inch Nails The Slip by Nine Inch Nails My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West There are probably more, but these four immediately come to mind.
  16. Originally, it was the first Disney Plus MCU show that was rated TVPG, but it's been since changed to TV14. But yeah this entire episode is wholesome as fuck. One mention of drugs but other than that it's the most squeaky clean MCU show ever. And it's fuckin' great.
  17. First episode of Ms. Marvel is just so damn wonderful.
  18. PLEASE for the love of God be good and don't get cancelled early. That's a tall order for a series from Netflix, but yeah. Anyway: S2 of Hacks was great. Super funny and emotional at times. And if that's it for the show (I haven't bothered to look if it is) then it's a fitting end in my mind. Not going to complain if there is another season, though. I adore Hannah Einbinder as Ava. And I finished all three seasons of Hanna and it was... really good. And the final season wrapped things up nicely, I felt like each season was a good progression from the last. But it felt like the conclusion in the series finale came about way too soon, like it could have used a full episode order like the other seasons got. Not quite sure that I like the parental figure switch (trying to be vague because spoilers maybe) but in the end, it worked out. But it did feel really weird at first. I want to watch the movie now, since I just found out that Saoirse Ronan plays Hanna. I know the plot differs quite wildly, but it'll still be a good watch. I'm trying to force myself to finish S2 of the Flight Attendant, but this storyline is doing nothing for me. And Barry is kind of weak for me this time around, too. Maybe it's because I really want to start Stranger Things over since I don't even remember what season I watched last and it's ending soon, so might as well just restart the whole thing.
  19. sooo... Peacock is making a Twisted Metal TV show. Samoa Joe is Sweet Tooth (voiced by... Will Arnett) Also starring Anthony Mackie ("John Doe"), Thomas Haden Church ("Agent Stone"), Stephanie Beatriz ("Quiet") and Neve Campbell (unspecified role).
  20. I'm still over here waiting on Final Fantasy X Remake. C'mon you fuckin' cowards.
  21. supposedly "A Fan's Guide to Ms. Marvel" will be uploaded to Disney+ late tonight/tomorrow Seems like something like Assembled, that usually airs after the show is done. Odd, but I'm ready. Next weeeeeek!
  22. That sucks, damn. Keep an eye out for your email, PS Direct have been doing more frequent drops on their website as of late apparently. It's wild to me that you can just buy a Series X off of Microsoft's website right now, and have been able to for the past two weeks. I know PS5 is the more "in demand" console, but still. There was a time when none of these things were available.
