Elder Scrolls online is free to keep on Epic Games.

Boy is it slow to download though; three and half hours in and I'm only at 18%. I guess the servers are getting hit hard right now.

Can I just sign up to Epic Games just to get the download, then use it on Steam instead? Is that a thing?

Not AFAIK. Epic is better than it was a few years ago though. Feels like it's not just a storefront now, there's more to it.

I hate how excited I am for Baulder's Gate 3 coming out in 2 weeks. The game is going to be massive, and likely gonna be my favorite game of the year (which is crazy to believe, when Octopath Traveler 2 and Final Fantasy 16 came out this year). I need it now!

Its size is quite intimidating to me. I just hope it's all good content, rather than tedious filler.

I was originally just going to buy Divinity and the sequels to that but then I saw this and I think I might just try this first and then go back to Divinity if I really like it. It's looks amazing though.

When I played the early access back in 2020 it was amazing. I can only imagine the improvements since then.

It is. I watched some gameplay footage from the reveal back in 2020 and it was amusing to watch because the developer actually died in the first battle he was trying to show.....after throwing his boots at one of the enemies.

I hate that fighting games have become DLC obsessed and a rush to have stupid guest characters. It's hurt the genre to me. As much as I love Smash Bros, it's entirely to blame for the guest character BS.

I grabbed it on preorder since you get the digital deluxe copy or whatever it is for the same price as regular version during Early Access so now I'm really excited.
