WCW Souled Out

Sunday, January 29th, 2005

Mean Gene: "Hello everyone, I'm mean gene okerland, welcome to the Souled Out Free per view. We have a great show for you tonight, let's run down the card."

Mean Gene gives us the rundown of everything that's at stake tonight.

Mean Gene: "And now let's go ringside, where David Meltzer and Coach are standing by for your free match of the night. Guys?"

We get our first shot of the arena, it looks to be a packed crowd tonight. The set has been custom designed for Souled Out, looking somewhat like a graveyard, but not as scary. A humonguous "Souled Out" sign sits about the wrestlers entrance area.

Meltzer: "Thank you Mean Gene, and Coach, are you looking forward to this one?"

Coach: "This is going to be a wrestling fans dream, Eddie Guerrero and CM Punk, I can't wait."

GRUDGE MATCH

EDDIE GUERRERO VS CM PUNK

Eddie makes his way out first and the crowd is all over him as he jaws with them as he makes his way to ringside. CM's music hits and he makes his dramatic entrance as the crowd goes nuts. He stands on top of the turnbuckle and holds up the X, but Eddie Guerrero attacks him and this match is underway. Eddie with the early advantage after that attack, sends CM to the ropes and hits a huge backbreaker to start the match off. Eddie picks him up and hits a snapmare before hitting the ropes and grabbing CM's neck, doing a flip, snapping his neck forward. Early two count on that one as Eddie puts him in a headlock. CM tries to shoot eddie into the ropes, but he holds on and they go crashing ton the ground as Eddie still has the headlock applied. CM tries again to shoot him into the ropes, and he's unsuccessful. Finally, CM gets to a standing base and back suplexes Eddie, which breaks the hold.

Atomic drop by Punk followed by a running bulldog. CM is starting to gain momentum now and goes to the ring apron, springboards off the top rope and delivers a legdrop which gets  2 count. CM with the irish whip, Eddie reverses it and tries to use CM's own momentum to throw him over the top rope, but CM skins the cat and Eddie doesn't see it. As he's getting back in the ring, Eddie notices, and walks over, but CM wraps his legs around Eddie's head and hits a modified hurricanrana on him and Eddie oversells and goes over the top rope. CM gets ready and runs and dives through the middle and top rope, but Eddie sidesteps, sending CM face first into the guardrail. Eddie picks him up and rolls him back into the ring, but only gets a two count before applying a reverse chinlock and we see now that CM is busted open following that gruesome dive. CM with elbows to the gut to break the hold and hits the ropes, but Eddie is right there when he comes back, connecting on a tiltawhirl backbreaker. Eddie with the over the top rope back senton to CM that gets a 2 count. Eddie picks up CM and goes behind, but CM with a standing switch and then a waist takedown before floating over and applying a front headlock to Eddie. Eddie fights back with shots the midsection before hitting the ropes, only to be hit by a punk back body drop. Punk leaps to the top rope from the canvas, Split legged Moonsault. 1-2-Kickout. Punk picks him up and goes for a hammerlock, but Eddie pokes the eyes and locks in an abdominal stretch. Eddie grabs the ropes when the ref isn't looking, which gives the move added pressure. This goes on for about 30 secounds until Punk finally hiptosses him over and hits a standing legdrop which gets another 2 count. CM picks up Eddie and goes for a vertical suplex, but Eddie reverses it into the 3 Amigos!

Eddie calls for the finish and goes to the toprope, FROGSPLASH MISSES! CM Punk with the devil's lock DDT and goes to the top tope, Eddies getting to his feet, FLYING SOMERSALT NECKBREAKER! The fans chant holy shit after they think this one is definitely over. 1-2-NO! Eddie gets his foot on the ropes. CM pulls Eddie into the center of the ring and says it's over. Punk goes for the Devil's lock, but Eddie squirms away. Eddie to his feet now as the ref broke it up. Punk comes walking right into an Eddie kneelift. Eddie with an armringer and climbs uptop and leaps off the top rope, hitting a hurricanrana! Eddie hooks in the lasso from elpasso in the center of the ring, and CM is in great pain. CM reaches the ropes once, but Eddie pulls him right back to the center of the ring. With nowhere to go, Punk is forced to tapout. After the match, the crowd boo'd as Eddie celebrated in the ring as if he just beat the world champ. Rest assured, I don't think this one is over

Coach: "That's right Meltzer, I think, yep, they've set up the cage and we're ready for our first match of the show!"

Meltzer: "Let's briefly run down the rules of this one. All four men can be in the ring at once and the winning team will be the first team to have both members feet touch the floor!"

Coach:"That sounds easy enough. "

TORNADO TAG CAGE MATCH FOR THE WCW TAG TEAM TITLES

Legion of Doom come out first to a great response. Ellering has accompanied them to the ring, he'll be standing at ringside. Sinister Creation is out next to boo's as they're accompanied by Sinister Minister. Minister points to Animal and slashes his thumb across his neck, calling for the end of his career after this match. Both teams are in the cage now and the bell sounds. Tajiri and Whipwreck both try for cross bodies on Hurricane and Animal right away, but the L.O.D catch both of them and deliver fall away slams right into the cage! L.O.D looks great in the early going, Irish whip by Animal on whipwreck and he follows it up with a powerslam! Meanwhile, Hurricane is working over Tajiri in the corner. Animal puts whipwreck in the other corner. They go to work with a few punches. Animal and Hurricane go for irish whips, but Tajiri reverses and it looks as if Hurricane and Whipwreck are going to run into each other. Hurricane goes up and over whipwreck with a great vertical jump and Whipwreck crashes into Tajiri as Hurricane was able to stop. Animal whips Hurricane right into the two in the corner before taking off and hitting an absolutely huge corner barrage on whipwreck and Tajiri.

The fans cheer as Animal puts Tajiri on his shoulder and drives him face first into the cage before turning around and hitting an oklahoma slam. Hurricane is on the top rope and is delivering punches into the corner of whipwreck, but whipwreck grabs his legs and hits a powerbomb! Animal comes running at whipwreck, but Whipwreck hits him with a hurricanrana! Whipwreck takes Hurricane and brings him to the ropes and somersalts off, Whippersnapper variation right there as Animal is being worked over with kicks from Tajiri. Whipwreck starts climbing the cage, but Stops as he gets and stands on the top rope, holding onto the cage. He dives off onto Hurricane as he was getting to his feet, but Hurricane hits a dropkick. Hurricane attacks Tajiri from behind with an inverted DDT to stop the fury of kicks he was delivering to Animal. Animal and Hurricane with a double irish whip to Tajiri before both delivering big boots. Animal picks up Tajiri and delivers a sickening powerbomb. Hurricane climbs to the top of the cage and stands up top, he can exit at this point. Instead, Animal hoists Tajiri up on his shoulders. Hurricane leaps off the top of the cage, delivering a doomsday device to Tajiri! The fans chant Holy shit as Hurricane is quick to his feet and begans climbing the cage while Animal takes care of Whipwreck.

Hurricane is up and over and his feet hit the floor, but all he can do now is watch as his partner is stuck in the ring with Tajiri and Whipwreck. Sinister Creation quickly regain the upperhand in the match as it's 2 on 1. The two hit him with some double team moves, but they finally backfire when Animal catches both of them with a double DDT. Sinister Minister fears trouble in the ring and grabs a chair and throws it over the cage. Tajiri grabs the chair, but Animal steps on it, not allowing Tajiri to lift it off the ground. Whipwreck comes from behind with a low blow uppercut that take the steam out of Animal. Chairshot to the back by Tajiri and Sinister Creation think that they have this one won. They both go climbing out of the cage. Tajiri makes it to the top first and goes over, as he's alot more agile then Whipreck, who's not so lucky as Animal grabs him as he had reached the top. Animal grabs Whipwreck and puts him on his shoulders and delivers a powerbomb right into the cage! Meanwhile on the outside, Ellering has floored Minister with a huge punch to the face and Hurricane and Tajiri are fighting on the outside. Animal begans climbing the cage, and gets to the top. Whipwreck climbs the cage and grabs onto his leg, but Animal is no match as he boots him right in the face and climbs down the cage, AND WE HAVE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPS!!!

Hurricane and Animal are handed the gold and raise their hands high in the air after recapturing the titles in this horrific cage match. The fans cheer as it's finally over, with LOD coming out of this feud the same way they came in, tag team champs.

CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH

Rey Mysterio vs Billy Kidman©

Mysterio out first to a great ovation. Kidman comes out next with cruiserweight title in tow to solid heat. The bell sounds and the match begans with both superstars circling one another before finally tying up with a collar and elbow that Kidman wins. Kidman with an arm ringer, but Rey does a cartwheel and reverses it into an armringer of his own and goes behind, only to get a big elbow to the face by Kidman. Kidman hits the ropes, but rey catches him with a dropkick to the gut and a running elbow drop for a quick 1 count. Irish whip by Rey, kidman reverses, Rey grabs the top rope and 619's in and out of the ring, Kidman comes running by gets back body dropped over the top rope by Rey. Rey bounces off the ropes and goes over the top with a cannonball onto kidman as the crowd goes wild. Rey climbs onto the apron and delivers an Asai moonsault, but Kidman catches him and puts him on his shoulder and runs towards the ringpost. Rey squirms off his shoulder and kidman goes crashing facefirst into the ringpost.

Rey rolls kidman into the ring and gets onto the apron. Rey drops the dime onto Kidman for a two count. Rey picks up kidman, but kidman delivers shots to the midsection and Rey keils over. gutwrench sitout powerbomb by Kidman that gets a two count. Kidman goes up top, looking for the shooting star, but Rey hits the ropes and Kidman lands up top. Rey hits a huge top rope frankensteiner to Kidman that gets a two count. Rey bounces off the ropes, but Kidman gets to his feet and delivers a huge clothesline that floors rey. Kidman with a standing legdrop followed by a second one that gets a two count. Kidman acts like he's going to hit an atomic drop, but instead sits out, delivering a huge face slam. Kidman goes up top, SHOOTING STAR PRESS MISSES!! That puts Kidman in a world of hurt as he came crashing down. Rey rolls to the outside apron, WEST COAST POP!!! Here's the pin, 1-2-No. Rey bounces off the ropes and comes running at kidman and leaps for a cross body over the ropes, but Kidman pulls the ref in the way! The ref gets absolutely clobbered by Rey as they both go up and over the top.

Kidman climbs to the top rope and jumps off onto Rey, but rey Sidesteps and Kidman racks his jaw on the guardrail. With the ref still out, Rey climbs onto the apron, but REESE comes running down the ramp and delivers a shot the back of Mysterio. Reese gets in the ring and pulls Rey in as well. He puts Rey on his shoulder and climbs the top rope. Reese leaps off the top rope and delivers an absolutely thunderous slam to Rey as all his weight came down on Rey. Kidman throws the ref back in the ring as Reese leaves. Kidman goes up top as the fans boo huge at this screwjob. SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!! The ref with the slow count... 1....2.....3 and Kidman has cheated his way through this one. Reese gets back in the ring and Kidman celebrates with him, jumping into his arms and sitting on his shoulder. Right as they were about to leave the ring, the bosses music hits as the crowd pops, Out comes Mr. Bischoff, microphone in hand!

Bischoff: "A few months ago, Steve Austin fired one of you flock bastards, but I ended up reinstating him out of mercy. The same doesn't go without saying for you Reese. REESE, GET THE HELL OUT OF MY RING, BECAUSE YOUR FIRED!!! And you, Billy Kidman, tomorrow night, you're going to defend that title in a ladder match against Rey Mysterio!"

The crowd pops at the announcements as Reese throws a fit in the ring. Security surrounds him and escorts Reese out of the building as Kidman is pleading with them all the way up the ramp.

Edge out first to a chorus of boo's from this crowd. Matt's music hits and here he comes running down the entrance ramp and into the ring, as this one gets underway in a hurry! They exchange right hands before Matt hits a kneelift to the gut and and an irish whip. Big back body drop by hardy as he's fired up here. Clothesline by Hardy and he goes chasing after Edge, but Edge rolls to the outside. Edge turns his back to the ring to yell at a fan, but Hardy hits a baseball slide to Edges back and then throws him back in the ring as he's fired up tonight. Matt's shirt comes off and the ladies in the arena cheer as he stomps on Edge on the ground. Hardy with a bodyslam and goes to the second rope, legdrop misses and now it's Edge with the advantage.

Edge with a couple hard punches to the face followed by a series of knees to the gut. Irish whip by Edge and he follows it up with an armdrag. Edge hooks the leg, but this is a last man standing match so there's no pinfalls! Edge picks up hardy and kicks him in the stomach and follows with a russian legsweep. Edge goes to the top rope, looking for the missile dropkick, but Hardy punches him while he's up there and climbs up as well. Vertical suplex by Matt onto Edge and the ref begans counting out Edge. 1-2-3-4-5-Edge is back to his feet. Clothesline that sends Edge up and over the top rope by Matt, who then slingshots over the ropes and lands on Hardy. Hardy picks up Edge before the ref can start counting. Matt with a huge irish whip right into the stairs and he gets in the ring as the ref starts counting. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-Edge is to his feet and he's apparently giving up, as he starts walking up the ramp. Hardy gets out of the ring and chase him down, delivering a lariat to the back of the head on the steel ramp. The ref leaves the ring and heads towards the two.

Matt tries for a vertical suplex onto the steel ramp, but Edge hits him in the ribs a couple times before planting him with a DDT. Edge jumps off the ramp and notices something on the floor. Edge positions a table that has cords on it into position and jumps back onto the ramp. Edge brings hardy to the edge, they're roughly 7 feet above the table now on top of the entrance area, while the table sits on the ground. Edge kicks matt in the stomach and goes for a vertical suplex, getting him halfway up in the air before Matt counters and lands back on the ground. Hardy reverses positions and tries for a vertical suplex of his own, but Edge drops to one knee, countering. Edge hits a low blow on Hardy! Edge stands up and grabs Hardy and throws him off the stage! He does a flip in midair and goes crashing right through the table as the crowd immediately starts a holy shit chant up.

Meltzer: "My god Matt Hardy has to be dead after that one."

The ref counts, 1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9.....MATT is stirring and gets back to his feet and starts walking back to the ring, obviously out of it. Matt gets back in the ring, a good 8 feet ahead of Edge and just lays in the ring out of it. Edge back in the ring and goes to the top rope as Matt stirs to get to his feet. MISSLE DROPKICK BY EDGE! Now Edge is setting up in the corner. Hardy pulls himself to the ropes and gets up, only to WALK RIGHT INTO A SPEAR! Matt hardy is on dreamstreet, the only thing keeping him going is his will. The ref counts. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-Hardy grabs the ropes and pulls himself to his feet. Edge kicks him in the stomach and goes for an irish whip, but Hardy reverses, kicks him in the stomach and hits a TWIST OF FATE!! Both superstars fall to the ground as the ref starts counting both out, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-both superstars are back on their feet and go toe to toe in the ring with right hands. Hardy gains the upperhand and hits a few more before finally sitting a big right hand that sends edge over the top rope. Hardy follows. DDT on the outside by Hardy and he begans clearing off the spanish announce table. He clears it off and rolls edge onto it before delivering a couple more shots. Hardy gets on the apron and climbs to the top rope.

Meltzer: "Don't do it Matt, it's not worth it!!"

Matt Hardy jumps off the top turnbuckle towards the announce table, but Edge rolls off the table and Matt plummets through the announce table. The crowd immediately begans another holy shit chant as Edge rolls into the ring. The ref begans counting, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10!! Edge wins!! As Edge music hits, Maria comes running out to check on Matt, who's being checked on by road crew and trainers. Edge rolls out of the ring and grabs Maria from behind as she looks over Matt. He throws her in the ring. She's fearing for her life now as Edge slides into the ring as she back ups from him. Edge grabs her, DOWNWARD SPIRAL!!! Maria is out and the crowd boo's huge at Edge, who leaves with a big smile on his face as EMT's now go and check up on Maria as well as Matt, who's still out.

Whiskey Marc vs Cactus Jack

Marc out first to huge heat. In his hand he has a garbage can, with a kendo stick sticking out of it. He gets in the ring and empties the garbage can, a sack, filled with thumbtacks more then likely, some barbed wire, and a few metal street signs hit the mat. Cactus's music comes out, still wearing a mask and he gets a huge pop. He's limping heavily, carrying a barbed wire 2x4. Cactus gets is in the ring, and immediately ducks a kendo stick shot before delivering right hands to Marc. Cactus backs him up in the corner with right hands before finally biting the forehead of Marc as the fans cheer. Cactus with a lowblow kick and sets him up for a piledriver on the barbed wire, but Whiskey back body drops him off. Marc picks up a street sign now and you can see he's busted open from Cactus's biting. He hits Cactus right in the head with the sign, but he immediately stands up and yells for another, which Whiskey obliges to. Cactus says to him again, and finally it takes a runing shot to take Cactus down. Marc picks up Cactus and goes to irish whip him, but Cactus's leg gives out and he just hits the ground.

Whiskey laughs and grabs the kendo stick. Huge shot right between the eyes as cactus was trying to get to his feet. Cactus uses the ropes to get up and this time, Marc hits him so hard that the stick breaks in two! Jack falls into the corner and leans on it, as that's the only thing keeping him up. Marc with a huge running knee into the gut of Jack and Cactus hits the apron. Marc grabs the bag of thumbtacks and spills them all over the canvas in a pile. He grabs Cactus and powerbombs him backfirst into the thumbtacks. Cactus writhes in pain as Marc grabs the microphone. "What do you say?" Marc asks. "I say..EAT SHIT." Cactus yells out as the fans pop. Marc pulls Cactus to the center of the ring and delivers an elbow drop to the bad knee now as he goes to work on Cactus's weakness. Cactus writhes in pain after a couple more elbows and clutches his knee. Meanwhile, Whiskey has grabs the barbed wire and attempts to place it in one area, but it's really just a mess. Marc grabs the 2x4 and places it in the pile. Marc picks up jack, but jack fights back with everything he has before delivering another low blow...DOUBLE ARM DDT ONTO THE BARBED WIRE!! The ref hands cactus the mic. "Give up you son of a bitch!" Cactus yells. "NO!!!!!!" Marc replys, so Cactus bashes him in the face with the microphone. Cactus pulls himself up on the ropes and rests in the corner. Cactus actually climbs the second rope and dives off with a driving elbow into Marc's chest.

But it hurt Cactus just as bad as he clutches his knee. Marc is up first and kicks cactus a couple times before pulling him up. Marc hoists cactus up onto his shoulders, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER ONTO THE GARBAGE CAN! Marc climbs to the top rope, Broken beer bottle splash! This one has to be over as Marc grabs the microphone and holds it to Cactus's mouth. "You mother.." before he can finish Mark drives the microphone into jacks face a number of times, and Jack is severely busted open now. Marc goes to the outside and grabs two chairs and sets them up side by side in the ring. Marc grabs Cactus and sits up top, it looks like he might be going for a tornado DDT. Jack punches Marc a couple times before beganning to climb. He's up top now and grabs Marcs head before falling backwards. Whiskey gets the worst of that one as Cactus DDT's him right off the top rope into the chair, but Cactus hit is leg on the other chair in the process! Marc nearly nosells the move and gets back up and PUTS CACTUS IN THE SHARPSHOOTER!!! Cactus is yelling in pain as the ref brings the mic over to Cactus. Cactus won't say anything as he sits there in huge pain.

1 Minute into the hold and it's a stalemate, with Marc yelling at Cactus to give up and Cactus just ripping out his hair in pain. After 2 minutes of the hold, Eric Bischoff walks down the ramp and grabs the microphone.

Eric: "That's enough Whiskey, ring the damn bell."

The bell rings as Marc lets go of he hold confused

Eric: "I've seen enough of this. Referee, raise that man's hand."

The ref raises Marc's hand as the winner as Cactus has crawled his way to the corner and is sitting in the corner clutching his leg.

Foley: "MARC! You wait right there you son of a bitch. You see, you may have won the battle, but MICK FOLEY ALWAYS WINS THE WAR. Oh yes Marc, take your victory, because I'm going to make your life a living hell!"

Raven vs Christian

Raven has a sour look on his face, as he's obviously not happy one of his flock members were fired earlier. Christian comes out to a very good crowd reaction. As the bell sounds, the two lock up with a collar and elbow. Christian applies the headlock, but Raven shoots him off into the ropes, but Christian hits a shoulder block. Christian takes off and Raven hits the mat, but as Christians coming back, Raven puts his head down, only to get a kick to the chest. Christian tries for a lariat, Raven ducks and hits a neckbreaker. Raven with an early 1 before applying a reverse chinlock. Christian elbows him in the gut and delivers a bodyslam. Raven starts to get to his feet, but Christian hits a running knee right to the face that puts Raven flat on his back. Christian puts raven in the texas cloverleaf, but Raven quickly gets to the ropes and the two break.

They circle each other, but then Christian sweeps the legs, which prompts Raven to do the same. They both get up and collar and elbow tieup, but Raven goes behind and hits an attomic drop. Irish whip into the corner by raven and he goes for a clothesline, but Christian kicks him in the stomach and grabs his head and jumps to the top rope, TORNADO DDT! 1-2-No. Irish whip by Christian, Raven reverses, drop toe hold and Raven grabs the leg for a 1 legged boston crab. Christian reaches the ropes, but Raven is all over him with a reverse waistlock. Standing switch by Christian, who hits a german suplex on Raven! 1-2-Kickout. Christian picks up raven and irish whips him, Raven ducks the clothesline, SUPERKICK! 1-2-kickout, as that superkick was pretty weak. Raven whips him into the corner and charges towards him, connecting on the clothesline, Raven goes for the bulldog, but instead Christian drops him with the falling inverted DDT! 1-2-Kickout. Christian tries to turn a figure four, but Raven pushes him right into the corner, and as he comes stumbling back, goes for a schoolboy, but only gets a 2 count. Both men back to their feet and Christian hits an armdrag, but Raven returns the favor, hitting an armdrag and then an elbow drop. Raven with an arm ring, but Christian reverses with one of his own, only to get a thumb to the eyes . Raven with a russian legsweep and he heads up top. Christian gets up and throws Raven off the top turnbuckle and he lands on his back in the center of the ring. Christian climbs up top, and CONNECTS ON THE CROSSBODY, 1-2-KICKOUT AT 2.999999

Bother superstars have given it their all in this matchup. They both get on their feet and exchange blows, but Raven connects on the kneelift and goes behind Christian. Christian runs towards the ropes and hangs on, sending Raven off of him. Raven comes charging, but Christian back body drops him over the top rope. Christian climbs the top rope and dives off onto Raven. Christian goes for a piledriver on the outside, but Raven back body drops him over and rolls into the ring to break up the 10 count before going back outside. Raven with a russian leg sweep right into the guardrail before rolling Christian back into the ring. Raven calls for the Raven effect, but Christian picks him up and rams him backfirst into the corner. Christian with right hands as he tries to fight back. Christian has the fans on his side now and tries to turn him for the unprettier, but Raven pushes him into the ropes. Christian comes back with a strong lariat. Stevie Richards begans walking down the ramp and that distracts Christian as he gets into a yelling war with Richards. Raven gets to his feet and spins Christian around, kick to the stomach, RAVEN EFFECT!! Raven hooks the leg, 1-2-3 and we have a new US CHAMPION!!! Steven Richards hops in the ring and throws Christian to the outside before grabbing the belt and handing it to the flock leader. The flock now has double gold amongst them! Raven celebrates as the crowd boo's.

Steiner leaves the ring as Austin enters and does his pose on the four turnbuckles. Steiner gets back in the ring and the bell sounds and here we go. The two jaw with one another in the center of the ring, going nose to nose. Austin acts as if he's going to turn away, but hits a right hand on Steiner before going to work with right hands. Austin with an irish whip, Steiner reverses, but Austin comes back with a huge clothesline. Austin goes to drop the driving elbow, but Steiner sits up. The two tie up, and this one's a no contest as Steiner easily wins and throws Austin halfway across the ring. Austin gathers himself and gets up and the two circle one another. Austin acts like he wants to go for another tieup, but instead kicks Steiner in the stomach and delivers a huge bodyslam. Austin goes for the pin, but Steiner powers out at one. Austin charges towards Steiner, who has just gotten to his feet, but he's met with a short arm lariat. Steiner picks up Austin and whips him into the corner and delivers a couple punches, but Austin reverses positions and whails away on Steiner with huge right hands before he finally hit the ground. Austin proceeds to stomp a mudhole in him in the corner. Austin backs off and hits a knee smash right to Steiner's face! Austin pulls him out of the corner and hooks the leg, but only gets a two.

Austin picks up steiner and wrenches the arm and goes behind him, but Steiner hits a back elbow. Steiner takes off running towards the ropes, but he's met by a Steve Austin powerslam. Austin bounces off the ropes and hits the two finger salute driving elbow to the chest that only get a two count. Steiner is back on his feet and trips Austins, sending him outside through the ropes. Steiner goes to the outside and delivers a clubbing blow to Austin's back.Steiner tries to whip Austin into the steps, but Austin reverses and sends Steiner crashing into them. Austin grabs a cord and chokes Steiner as the crowd goes wild. Austin throws Steiner in the ring before the 10 count and climbs to the 2nd turnbuckle. Driving elbow connects and Austin goes for the cover, 1-2-kickout. Austin picks up Steiner and irish whips him, but Steiner reverses and hits a huge powerslam. Steiner goes for the pin, but pops off of Austin and does pushups in the ring! Steiner picks Austin up, Belly to belly suplex! 1-2-Austin grabs the ropes to breakup the pin. Steiner picks up Austin and goes for another Belly to belly, but Austin boxes his ears. Austin bounces off the ropes, but Steiner catches him in a bearhug. Austin boxes the ears again and delivers right hands before bouncing off the ropes and hitting a lariat. Austin grabs Steiner's legs and turns him over for the sharpshooter! Steiner yells in pain, but finally reaches the ropes.

Austin picks up Steiner, but Steiner fights back, delivering right hands the gut before delivering a huge european uppercut.Irish whip by Steiner and he lifts Austin above his head, showing great stregnth. He simply lets go of Austin and lets him fall to the mat. A series of clotheslines by Steiner, who seems to be picking up Steam. Steiner whips Austin into the corner and sets him up top. Steiner climbs up top, SUPERPLEX! Steiner lays on the mat for a few seconds before making the cover. 1-2-Kickout at 2.999. Steiner picks up Austin and sends him to the ropes with an irish whip, Austin ducks the clothesline, kick to the stomach, but steiner grabs the leg and spins Austin completely around, Austin ducks another clothesline, STUNNER!!!!! Austin makes the cover, 1...2...3 and the crowd goes nuts. Austin's music hits as he gets his hand raised the winner. Austin poses on all four turnbuckles while drinking beer as he celebrates his victory the new number one contender for the heavyweight title.

Jericho's music and pyro hits and it's all boo's and jeers in the arena as they hate their world champ. Jericho can be seen yelling shutup to fans as he makes his way to the ring and does his poses. The ref holds the belt way up in the air and the bell sounds and here we go. Collar and elbow tieup, but neither man gets an advantage and they cleanly break. Another collar and elbow and this time Book backs Jericho into the corner, but they break again cleanly. Book puts his hand up for a test of stregnth, and apparently Jericho is going to oblige, but instead, he kicks book in the stomach and goes to work with right hands. Deep Arm ringer by Jericho, but Book reverses it so hard that Jericho does a flip and lands on the mat. Book picks him up and it looks like he's going to irish whip him, but instead he hoists him up on the shoulders. Jericho breaks free and applies a waistlock, but Book blocks the german and delivers an elbow to the gut. Book tries to go for a kick early, but Jericho grabs his leg and hits a dragon screw and immediately tries tor the liontamer, but Book scurries to the ropes. Jericho with kicks to the midsection to a downed Booker T.

He picks up Booker and Irish whips him, Tilt-a-whirl back breaker. A cocky Jericho picks up Book and delivers a standing dropkick to him and then places one foot on his chest, going for a non-chalent cover that only gets 1. Jericho picks up Book, but Book fights back, only to get a kneelift right to the midsection. Irish whip by Jericho, Book ducks the clothesline, SPINNING HEEL KICK BY BOOKER! Book to his feet now, SIDEKICK! Book goes for a kick ot the midsection, Jericho grabs the leg, ENZIGURI! And Book has taken firm control of the matchup. Book with an irish whip, Jericho ducks the spinning heel kick and comes back with a flying forearm. Jericho picks up booker, double underhook backbreaker! Jericho goes for the lionsault, but Book gets his knees up and that one hurt Y2J. Both superstars get to their feet and Book delivers chops to Jericho before sending him into the ropes, Book puts his head down and Jericho comes back and stops,grabs book's hair and throws him down to the canvas. Jericho goes for a standing legdrop, but Book sits up. Irish whip by Jericho and now he puts his headdown, Book goes up and over with a sunset flip, but Jericho grabs the legs and turns the liontamer! Jericho drives the knee into the back and Book tries desperately to get to the ropes, and succeeds.

Jericho breaks the hold after a referee 4 count and stomps Booker's back, Jericho with a hiptoss and he goes to the top rope, cross body but Booker rolls through, 1-2-No. Book with a bodyslam and he goes up top, Missle dropkick connects! 1-2-kickout. Book is in firm control now and is looking to end it. Booker irish whips Jericho into the corner and connects on a huge splash. Book climbs to the top and grabs Jerichos head, DDT! Book waits for Jericho to get up, Scissors kick but Jericho dodges and goes for a clothesline, BOOKEND!!!! Book does a spinaroonie as he's sensing victory now. Book picks up Jericho and irish whips him, SPINEBUSTER! Book goes to the top rope, HARLEM HANGOVER CONNECTS!!

Meltzer: "It's gotta be over, we're gonna have a new world champ!

Here's the cover, 1...2...NO!!!!! Kickout at the last second and Book is shocked! Book picks up Jericho and kicks him in the gut, Scissors kick CONNECTS!! Jericho does a couple rolls and Booker goes for the cover, 1-2-JERICHO GRABBED THE ROPES!! Book is getting frustrated right now as Jericho has escaped defeat twice. Book goes to the top rope again, LEG DROP MISSES!! Jericho kicks Book in the stomach, POWERBOMB! Jericho hangs onto his legs, Meltzer calls for the double powerbomb, but instead Jericho turns him over for the liontamer in the center of the ring! Book reaches the ropes after 25 seconds of being in the liontamer, but JERICHO PULLS HIM TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! 45 more seconds of pain and Book reaches the ropes yet again and holds on for his life. Book gets to his feet and Jericho immediately goes for an irish whip, Book Reverses and puts his head down, ONE ARMED BULLDOG! Jericho springboards off the second rope, LIONSAULT... BUT BOOK GOT THE KNEES UP... BUT JERICHO TURNS HIM AGAIN FOR THE LIONTAMER!! After 10 seconds, Booker has no choice but to tap out to the world champ after an amazing effort. Jericho's music hits as the champ takes his belt and leaves the ring. He raises the title in the air on the entrance ramp as Book gets to his feet in the ring. The crowd gives Book an ovation for the great effort, but sadly it just wasn't enough to defeat Chris Jericho!

WINNER: CHRIS JERICHO

As usual,a great show with the new commish,but the main event was lacking some spice,as all of the readers knew that Booker/Stiener was gonna loose and this is all just a build to Austin-Jericho.

I liked the US Title match,I hope a continuation to the Christian-Raven feud.

Punk-Eddie should not be in the free per view,Kidman-Rey should.

But overall,a good show but not as good as other PPV's.
