My tastes are a bit different/varied, so don't hurt me for it! I'm just picking my favorites, as opposed to who actually was the best.

1. The Beach Boys- I HATED them for a long time. I only knew the oldies type stuff at first, until my boyfriend at the time let me hear Sunflower. Now, I'm hooked. I think that was the only good thing about that relationship. :)

2. Led Zeppelin- the prototype for every metal band to come, only these guys could actually play.

3. Nirvana

4. Sonic Youth- Panty Lies is one of my favorite all-time songs.

5. Stone Temple Pilots- Not just because I have a crush on Scott, but boy the grooves in some of their songs...Purple is one of my favorite albums by anyone.

6. Coldplay

7. The GoGos- I wish I was born like maybe 5 years before so I could've heard them when they were fresh and new. Fun and inspiring for me!

8. L7

9. Pink Floyd - Mainly pre-Wall.

10. Kittie- You can keep your Nickelbacks and your Linkin Parks. This is real rock.

1. Radiohead (let's get 'em back where they belong!)

2. Aphex Twin

3. Bjork

4. Kraftwerk

5. David Bowie

6. Muse

7. Ladytron

8. Massive Attack

10. Underworld

This list is downright arbitrary as far as rankings go, but I thought I might as well number them:

1. The Pillows

2. Blur

3. Queen

4. Frank Sinatra

5. Bon Jovi

6. Guns n Roses

7. Asian Kung Fu Generation

8. Rage Against The Machine

9. Madness

10. No Doubt

I'm in a very 80s mood right now, so it's probably lucky more random electro-trash didn't make the list. You have no idea how close Human League was. >_>

Some of you have weird ass taste, but I love you all anyway.

01. Garbage

02. Smashing Pumpkins

03. Metallica

04. Nine Inch Nails

05. Marilyn Manson

06. White/Rob Zombie

07. KMFDM

08. KISS

09. Stone Temple Pilots

10. Judas Priest

Couple sidenotes:

-I put White and Rob Zombie down as one because Rob still performs White Zombie songs in concert and White Zombie was pretty much nothing but his to begin with.

-I pretty much went for a mixture of talent and influence, and bands that have more than three albums.
