What ever happened to Ken Griffey Jr? He was supposed to be king shit, break all the records etc, and then he got injured for like 10 years.

It's such a shame about Griffey. When you really get down to it, and assuming he didn't take steroids, he is the most talented player of his generation. Even while all those guys were on the juice he was equally dominant. If he did his conditioning properly and took better care of his body who knows the career numbers he would have by now.

I don't know why everyone has given up on Josh Towers so absolutely. He had a horrifying year in 2006, granted. But in each of his other years with Toronto he's been a solid starter, and I can't imagine he's just been sitting back this offseason. I'll at least stay hopeful that a fire was lit under his ass in 2006 and he'll come back with a vengeance in 2007. A LOT of ifs for the Jays in 07, and I happen to think he's one of the biggest.

It's his 3rd start... maybe if this continues to be a trend I'll say that, but going 1-2 isn't alarming especially with his pitching the way it is now.
