As much as I hate watching it, but for those that didn't see it, this is the free kick that Scotland "conceded", followed by the last minute Italy goal:

Oh, and well done to Northern Ireland by the way! They can still qualify if they beat Spain and Latvia beat Sweden, that right?

So you hate England because we're overrated, but like Spain?

lol, well done you mug.

no, I just hate England and think they're overrated.

I hate them because they're absoulte shit, and McLaren only seems to pick his players from 'big' clubs. Robert Green and Scott Carson should be playing instead of Robinson, but no McLaren decides to stick with someone who plays total crap this season.

EDIT: and yeah, I am from England, but when I got into football properly I started to support Spain and have done since then.

Well you are in Liverpool and they're pretty much a Spanish team anyway so I guess it makes sense.... :shifty:

You got a link to Scotland's offside goal as well? Thanks.

About 1:05 in. It certainly was offside, and as mentioned, the ref and linesmen got a few big decisions wrong, some of which went for us and some of which went for Italy. I was linking the free kick incident in case people didn't see it and were wondering why such a big fuss was being made over it.

Here's the extended highlights (in English):

Either way, we lost and there's nothing we can do about it. Dust ourselves off, get ready for the World Cup Qualifiers and try again. 3rd place behind France and Italy is nothing to be ashamed of, we did bloody well. Even with a draw, we would've needed Ukraine to beat France, which probably wouldn't have happened. But England are almost there and Northern Ireland are still in the hunt, so hopefully the UK will be there in some shape or form.

The best thing for Scotland to come out of this is not only that they have shown they can compete against big guns, but also that their seeding has gone up, so there shouldn't be a repeat of this kinda group strength, unless Scotland are seriously unlucky.
