You know, last week I wouldn't have believed anyone who thought that Newcastle would seriously go down, but looking at how close the table is now esp after Readings win it does look possible. All the teams below Newcastle are at least scraping draws every now and again, Newcastle don't look like they can get anything.

I don't rate Owen as highly as I use to. His career seemed to peak really early. From 1999 - 2002 he looked unstoppable. A string of series injuries are never going to do a player who relies heavily on pace any favours, though.
