We did the auction for our Fantasy Football league at work last night (£50m budget; 15 player squad; max 2 players from each team; points scored only through goals/assists/clean sheets and lost only by keepers/defenders conceding). I find myself in the bizarre position of having quite an excellent defence but a mediocre midfield/strikeforce:

GK J.Reina (LIV)

FB W.Brown (MU)

FB V.Corluka (MC)

CB R.Carvalho (CHE)

CB M.Skrtl (LIV)

MF D.Bentley (TOT)

MF R.Giggs (MU)

MF J.Jenas (TOT)

MF T.Cahill (EVE)

ST D.Drogba (CHE)

ST J.Carew (AV)

Sub1 D.Murphy (FUL)

Sub2 E.Eboue (ARS)

Sub3 D.Vassell (MC)

Sub4 Tuncay (MID)

I wanted to buy Agbonlahor again but I only had £3.5m left by the time he came up so I got outbid. :@

In other news, less than 28 hours before the Premier League kicks off (although that's just Arsenal-WBA; Chelsea of course aren't playing until Sunday) and I am fucking hyped. Who's with me?!

Is there any chance of the Tottenham/Wigan game on the 21st of September being moved? I wanna buy a ticket as I'll be in Reading and London for the week but don't wanna waste money if there's a chance of it being moved.

I don't imagine it'll be moved...not with the TV matches already sorted for the first few months and hardly any midweek cup ties around in September to shift it either.

Awesome, anyone wanna go to the match with us? >_>
