which update is best to use right before the "attitude era" began

IMO, Attitude Era starts at the end of 1997/early 98, so use 1996 or 97, you can find this updates at GNetwork.

I'd say if you want to start just before it starts I'd choose a 1996 scenaro and start it in June if you want to start off when both feds were getting their "attitude" (nWo and Austin 3:16).

sorry I was trying to change my picture when I posted that. It was stuck on vader even though I uploaded the new one. so I posted to see if the new picture would show up. had to clear cookies and erase history though.
