Quality start, I am glad they didn't just rush into the zombie invasion. And that bashing in the head was brutal.

That was brilliant. Didn't expect anything less from Brooker, but I didn't think they'd let him be so violent. The bit at the end with the head smashing apart was brutal.

Quality start, surprised a little be the goriness, not just the head-bashing (although that was pretty brutal), but the whole intestine consumption-type stuff, didn't think they'd get away with stuff like that. I liked the little touches too, like Helen and Bubble reminiscing about the flying over the coffee table incident, and Zombie Davina was cool too.

The director guy was a complete and utter bastard. Shutting the door on his colleague and then leaving the disabled guy to the zombie whilst he locked himself in the toilet, awesome.

Though I get the feeling he'll somehow survive, meet up with whatever is left of the house and then get in some bad situation, only for the other staff girl to be all "He's a bastard, leave him to die. "

That was ace. Roll on episode two. For channel 4 the graphics were fantastic, my brother walked in half way through and said, "Wow what's this? I don't think I've seen this film before". Only down point is that half the time the program is so dark you can't see shit. Although that's more to do with the atmosphere I'd imagine.

You've probably only heard of Brooker if you: read the Guardian, have seen some of the programs he's worked on or stumbled across Screenwipe on BBC4.

Dead Set was great, loved the Zombie in the wheelchair moment.

The director was probally the funniest part of all.

I personally wouldn't have made the choice the Big Brother contestants did. Sure it'd make for boring TV, but faced with the decision of smashing the skull in of the woman who is bound to die, or embarking on what will obviously be a fatal mission for at least one of the gang (probably two), it's a bit of a non-starter. That said, I was hoping the zombie woman was going to catch the van and dive in the back.
