TMZ is a sleazy, disgusting tabloid... but they're usually the first to break celebrity news. I'd say it's very likely that he's gone.

My local news outlet in California has confirmed his death. Just like the elections, CNN and other news websites are SUPER careful about reporting these things, which is why they haven't 'confirmed' it yet.

BBC News and Sky News here are basically saying 'Jackson in hospital, TMZ says he's dead and we can't confirm or deny that'. Like I said before, if it is true, Michael Jackson was a massive, massive figure in the music business, and Thriller is one of my favourite songs ever.

And holy hell, I didn't even realise today was the anniversary of the Benoit tragedy breaking.
