This argument is ridiculous, because if Crouch's goals were only because of the opposition's lack of quality then surely everyone else would've been filling their boots as well? What's the point in doing this with two short players? Owen's been in decline for years and isn't match fit, whilst Rooney's extremely temperamental for England.
