Rockstar Games has come under fire for the drunken character "Irish" in Red Dead Redemption. Herald.ie, an online newspaper based in Dublin, took offense at the character, saying: "The stereotype of the drunken Paddy will again be taken advantage of, as the game's town drunk is called 'Irish'," adding that the character "sours the launch" for gamers with Irish heritage.

This isn't the first time that Rockstar has upset ethnic groups with its games. Most notable was the "Kill the Haitians" mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which resulted in Rockstar releasing a new version of the game with certain lines of dialogue removed after Cuban and Haitian groups complained.

Could "Irish" be removed from future versions of the game? There's certainly a precedent for it.

Son of a bitch. Irish was easily one of my favorite characters too.

Benji and I beat the shit out of Lobo (king wolf), Khan (king cougar) and the king of the boars/bears too (whose names escape me) earlier on. Some good progress considering we played for about 2 hours less than last night.

If we can both get on at the same time tomorrow evening, we're gonna try the $5k bounty one.

EDIT: Google tells me they're Gordo and Brumas, respectively.

I bought the maps from the General Stores around the world, but apparently I'm still missing one location in New Austin (which is Tumbleweed, McFarlane's Ranch etc.) that I haven't visited yet.

Anyone know where this hidden place is located exactly?
