Smackdown vs Raw 2011

I really hope the ability to edit superstar attributes is unlockable in the game and not something you HAVE to pay for to get. I'd love being able to edit shit but not sure it'd be worth the money.

Then again, if you can only edit via buying the ability, that hamstrings what you can do in terms of downloaded CAW overalls. Ugh.

Apparently, The Hurricane is in the game as a non-playable character in Rey Mysterio's Road to WM. That should be a fairly interesting story then.

If they bothered to make his model I don't see why they couldn't just keep him in as a playable guy, even if he WAS released in February. It's kinda like how Lawler was your tag team partner in HCTP yet you could never unlock him.

This could very well be the first Smackdown game i've had since Smackdown VS Raw 2008. I think they've done a great job in selling it with the WWE Universe mode and RTWM modes for me.

Legends I'd like to see in next year's game:

Diamond Dallas Page (unfortunately, he'd probably have the smiling idiot gimmick; I'd rather have mid-1997ish DDP, with the `Self High Five' theme)

Demolition (Ax and Smash; the heck with Crush)

Brian Pillman

Superstar Billy Graham

Akeem (Sadly, I don't see Hell freezing over any time soon)

Mr. Fuji (as a manager, complete with heel antics using his cane)

Diesel (Preferably the all black gear)

Hacksaw Jim Duggan

Considering only about 5-6 spots are ever reserved for Legends lately (well, 3-4 since Rock and Austin are always in) I doubt you'll ever see Page and Diesel make it, especially when most of Page's success came from outside of WWE and guys like Diesel who're still wrestling.

Dusty Rhodes has been in a WWE game before, and his WWE run was pointless. Plus he wasn't in the polka dots when he appeared in the game. He did come out to AMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM, though I actually prefer that to anything else he's ever used as music.

Assuming you're talking about last years where he ends up being a lumberjack in the Legacy vs Orton feud along with Ted Sr and Undertaker. I just thought, do you think in that universe, that was Undertaker's only involvement with Mania that night?

Yea, this undefeated streak thing is alright but being a lumberjack, that's where the real money is!

Nah, he'd been in a game before, don't remember the year...

If DDP were to be put into the game as a legend, I would think WWE and/or THQ would be smart enough to put in the model of him from the 90's. Unless of course Terry Funk is being put into the game as Chainsaw Charlie.

So I decided to watch a few of the entrances/finishers on the SD vs RAW 2011 website and... is it just me, or is the announce team for EVERY show Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler? :(

Still hyped for this, but seems like there's still a few tiny let downs. (For me anyway)
