The 'What Football Team Do You Support?' Thread

After the discussion raised in the Premier League thread, I actually want to find out what football teams are supported on EWB.

I pretty much support Liverpool only, I think from now on I might count Vancouver Whitecaps as my MLS team though. Simply because Bruce Grobelaar played for the original Whitecaps!

Liverpool mainly, but I'm supporting Bristol City more and more, and I've been to a few games this season, so I'd definitely class myself as a fan. Then I have a big soft spot for Bournemouth too because that's where my uni is.

Manchester United of course. But I ain't no glory hunting southern plastic Manc, United is my local team, I could pretty much see Old Trafford from my house when I was growing up.

But honourable mentions go to Leigh Genesis (was RMI) and more recently Chester FC, just because I'm a fan of non-league football and these have been or are home-town teams.

Doncaster Rovers, funnily enough.

I can often be seen talking about Liverpool's fortunes (misfortunes?) in the Premier League thread as well...but I have as much a soft spot for them as I do Everton due to some family ties so it's a weird one that.

Anyway, I throw my money at the Rovers so that's who I support.

Man Utd - have done since the age of 7 or 8 when I went to my first game (beat Blackburn, Champions at the time, 1-0). Never really followed Cardiff, because there's no way I'd miss a Utd game to go and watch them. I wouldn't miss a game for anything, really. I had to sell on my TNA ticket when I found out we had a CC game that night against City.

I don't post in the Premiership thread because I just save all Saturday watching until MotD. Watch all Sunday games though

My soft spot team would be Nottingham Forest. I have no idea where it came from, though.

Man U and Crewe Alex - Man U because of my Dad taking me to OT when I was younger, the Alex through proximity plus work and college mates. I'm not sure which one would be classed as my favourite now, tbf, although Crewe's 6-2 drubbing on Tuesday wasn't exactly fun.
