Bendtner in on loan for a year? I'm not too disappointed with that, we obviously needed another striker up front and Bendtner is the sort of player you could imagine doing well with an extended run in the team. Rather him than Crouch as well.

We still appear to be lacking any left sided players though.

EDIT: Assuming it goes through of course, but come on - the last morsel of drama I got was when someone made up Gyan handing in a transfer request about 3-4 hours ago.

According to John Cross (Mirror reporter) Yossi Benayoun is done and Mike Arteta is desperate to join Arsenal and apparently is willing to take a pay-cut to sign.
