Hmm this is an easy one!!

FINAL FANTASY TACTICS!!

By far my favorite game ever and the one that I have spent the most time on.

Only game that I have just HAD to buy four different copies of.. since it seems I burn/scratch the damn things from over use.

MADDEN 03!!

Easily my favorite Sports game ever... Just the perfect football franchise game I have played.

Various YU GI OH games have also torn up a massive amount of hours in my life...

And for PC games, EWR by far has chewed up hundreds of hours thru the years.

When I was young, Speedball 2.

As I got older, the CM/FM franchise. Probably not even close, really. I put 144 hours into FM 2011, and that was only what was clocked after I put it onto Steam, so would have missed a huge chunk of playing time.

I think in terms of single video games, Pokemon Silver might have nailed it for me. That or Champ Man 01/02, based on the amount I played it when it became free..

Championship Manager 01/02 with relative ease - partially because it is a really good game and partially because I didn't have a computer that could handle FM until about 2008. I've barely played it since then, but I do remember it fondly.

In terms of console gaming, I played GTA San Andreas and Here Comes The Pain an awful lot.

I think Final Fantasy VII and VIII are tied at the top, I'd guess. Followed by Crash Team Racing (because Mario Kart is for nerds!) and then Modern Warfare is probably pretty high up there for how often I played MW2.

Final Fantasy VII and Tactics were all-consuming for a few years of my childhood. Recently Oblivion and now Skyrim have sucked up days of my life.

EWR, The Sims, and Roler Coaster Tycoon also took up a ton of time on the PC over the years too.

Oh God, I should give an honourary vote to the Questproble Spiderman text-based adventure game on whatever machine I had it on...I assume it was the C64, as I don't remember actually having any games for the Amstrad at the time.
