Didn't anybody see the Rum Diary? I didn't, I'm just curious. I didn't see any new movies in 2011, but I figured I'd see one or two votes for it.

I did and it's not bad, just not very good either. I haven't read the book though so I couldn't tell you how it compares.

I've seen about 50 movies from 2011 (movies JUST released in 2011, even when it comes to film festivals) and yet I'm still missing some key movies like The Descendants and Moneyball.

Left out quite a few movies because I really did see quite a lot last year, not enough room for them all. Will likely edit this in the next day or two and I plan on watching Hugo soon and hopefully also The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which will both likely be pushed into my top ten.

I do one of these lists every year for a roundtable and this is the first year I felt a need to do a Top 25. Problem with this year is that there has been a lot of good films that I really enjoyed, but not a lot of films that blew me away and will stick with me forever (really just the top 3).

I really want to see Drive before I make my list, because I've got a feeling that it's going to find its way on there.

Try to watch it within the next few days, then, because I'd like to start tallying a bit after my final next week.

Also 13 Assassins doesn't count.

Not getting to watch Drive for a little while so I think this is how my list looks for now. Feel I've missed out on something, but I haven't seen Shame, Drive and Moneyball - three films I really wanted to see.
