Ah well it's my thread. And the designated purpose of this thread was to appreciate Eden Hazard. So, the title was quite apt.

From that grainy bit of video I can't tell one way or the other, the ball moves but that doesn't mean he hasn't whacked the kid on the ribs. If that's two players you'd expect a red card, if its Suarez, Barton or Balotelli you'd expect a ten match ban. As it stands its a three match ban, which is completely correct.

I, personally, wouldn't expect a ban for anyone. Kid was in the wrong, and had planned to do it from earlier in the afternoon. Opinions are massively split on this anyway.

Yeah, except if you look at my post previous to that, it shows Hazard is blatantly going for the ball, not the ball boy. But yeah, forget actually looking at the evidence, let's throw out bans based on first views. Shit like this makes me feel sorry for referees who have to do things on best guess.
