Looking at the pic I wouldn't be surprised at all if Cena/Orton is one of the rivalries they pick for 2K Showcase. I would think they'd want Cena in a prominent role if they're doing a mode like this, and they've been having matches pretty consistently for the better part of a decade.

End of the day, the series was more than likely going to be next gen only from next year anyway, I see no reason why they shouldn't be pandering to the more up to date market.

Meh. I love Hollywood Hogan but I just got to play as him last year anyway, him and 2002-era Hogan hardly seem worth it. I was getting Sting anyway with a regular pre-order.

But common... its a wrestling career mode. What more than better looks can the ps4 bring? Its still bluray, its still a 500gb hd. Cutsceens are even less of an issue on old consoles since the filesize is smaller (lowerres models ext), savegames i doubt will be gigantic... what of this will need the power of next gen to be possible? What processing power is needed to have a wrestler run in whom you have a feud with?

I get the idea that sony or Microsoft might pay them to push the new gen of hardware but thats all i see. Makes me sad, not going to get a next gen console anytime soon.
