I always thought his style of play was that he's a very good player when he can be arsed, but he can't most of the time so is more trouble than he's worth, factoring in off-field stuff too.

Watching him at Liverpool his style of play was having to come ludicrously deep just to get a touch, before having to have a long range shot because there was no one anywhere near him. Anyone would've struggled.

Nah, his style of play is pretending he's Zlatan.

It still seems like Liverpool panic brought Balotelli because they were desperate for a striker, doing so without putting any thought what so ever into how they'd use him. Even with Sturridge injured all season Rodgers has still refused to play to his strengths.

Getting 14 million for him wouldn't be crazy at all either. He's 24 years old and a good player in the right system and team. Juventus would be stupid to buy him because firstly they don't need him and secondly he doesn't suit their system, but with Allegri it's quite possible.

Balotelli looked quite decent against us when he was paired with Sturridge, might sort some of his issues out?

I've thought this. He's looked good with a strike partner but a lot of the time Liverpool have been playing with 1 upfront.

He's had some decent games recently but the system earlier in the season didn't do him any favors. I seem to remember hearing that stats wise he isn't highly prolific (at least in the PL?).

Leicester have reportedly tabled a £3m bid for Kyle Naughton.

Aston Villa target Carles Gil has flown to Birmingham to complete a medical ahead of a £3.25m move, Sky sources claim.
Manchester United have confirmed that goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, 21, has been recalled from his loan spell at Doncaster Rovers and joined Preston North End on loan until the end of the season.
Benik Afobe is on the verge of joining Wolves, with Kenny Jackett telling Sky Sports that a fee has been agreed with Arsenal and the striker is having a medical now. Afobe spent the first half of the season on loan at MK Dons but is now set to make the step up to the Championship.

Crystal Palace are close to completing the loan signing of Yaya Sanogo from Arsenal, according to Sky sources. The striker was at Palace’s training ground earlier today and the move is expected to be completed soon.
Stephen Warnock will undergo a medical at Derby this afternoon with a view to joining them on an 18-month deal. Leeds have agreed to release Warnock, who has six months remaining on his contract at Elland Road.

Shafted from all angles by this move, thanks a lot to Man Utd and Preston. Fair enough if Johnstone wants to join his hometown club, but we had a loan agreement until the end of January and you're telling me he couldn't have stayed one more day and played for us in a potentially massive FA Cup replay? Ridiculous, Preston have chucked a daft amount of money at him for a League One team and we are now forced to go down to Bristol City with one goalkeeper, a 21 year old with 60 minutes of first team experience.

We can kiss goodbye the TV game against West Ham or Everton then, what a joke.

Would you like Jak Alnwick?
