She just knocked off Cirstea!

Cirstea had her visor fall off to set up the last match point and the commentators said it should've resulted in a replay of the point, but for whatever reason the official said her next shot that went out made it irrelevant. The rally though for the win was excellent!

She's made it into the fourth round. Her movement is tremendous and some of the shots she pulled off seemed impossible.

Her backhand is incredible and she has such confidence in playing aggressively, so her style of play is great to watch too.

17 year old Coco Gauff is into the 4th round as well with another straight sets win. She looked comfortable the whole time really.

Federer goes down in straight sets. Haven't seen him lose that decisively at Wimbledon in probably 20 years.

It's his first straight-sets defeat at Wimbledon in 19 years, when he was beaten in the first round by an 18-year-old Mario Ancic. The previous year, he'd beaten Pete Sampras, but he then got eliminated by good old Tiger Tim.

Djokovic really is a special talent. I think he's the best player of his era, which many would call the strongest ever. If he wins the US Open, it would be increasingly difficult to dispute.

It says a lot about the quality of the so-called "big four" that Djokovic, Federer, Nadal and Murray are the only men to have won the Wimbledon singles since 2003.

Murray's an amazing story because he's easily one of the best players ever, but he barely scratched the surface of what Fed, Djokovic, and Nadal have done. However if you take those 3 away during Murray's apex he probably has 10 Grand Slam titles before injuries take their toll. It's just a testament to how good those 3 in particular have been.

Hell you could go back a bit further to a player like Andy Roddick who was Federer's peak away from 8 Grand Slams or so.

Emma Raducanu is surely going to be something special. She just tore through the world #41 6-0 6-1 to reach the last 16 in her first US Open.

She could play Ash Barty next. That should be a really good experience and a way to gauge how she measures up against the very top players.

She won't play Barty because Shelby Rogers pulled off the upset. Barty was up 5-2 in the final set and Rogers came back to win.

That's interesting. Rogers has a history of beating high-profile players, it seems. I'd put her down as favourite against Raducanu, but it has the potential to be hard-fought.

And Raducanu has just absolutely steamrolled her way into the quarter finals. She still hasn't dropped a set in the tournament. She's 18. She's unreal.
