Arsene Wenger has confirmed Serge Gnabry will be returning from his loan spell at West Brom.

The midfielder has made six appearances for the Baggies this season, and Wenger said: "He has not played.

“I am tempted to give him some competition because he has not played at West Brom. I am tempted to let him go somewhere for a month or two to do with him what I did with Francis Coquelin.”

Miazga is gonna look great in a Vitesse shirt next year.

I'm a little bit amused by the way the Chelsea academy team are teasing Jake Clarke-Salter [one of Chelsea's more prominent youth defenders, for those wondering] about Miazga's arrival.

Sky Sources also understand Newcastle have made an enquiry about the possibility of taking Roma striker Seydou Doumbia on loan until the summer. The 28-year-old Ivorian scored 11 goals in 21 appearances for the Russian side last season.

He actually played for CSKA last season, only joining Roma last January. So technically not wrong <_<

Sky sources: QPR have a greed a £350,000 fee with Burton Albion for Nasser El Khayati. The Dutch midfielder joined Burton last summer from Kozakken Boys, and has scored 11 goals in 42 games for the club.

Aston Villa manager Remi Garde says the deal to sign Croatian goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic is now off for good due to work permit problems. Garde also says he wants to sign a striker before the transfer window shuts on Monday evening.

Sky sources: Bournemouth have agreed a deal with Sheffield Wednesday to sign left-back Rhoys Wiggins. The 28-year-old Wales U21 international moved to Wednesday from Charlton in the summer.

He probably doesn't still play for the U21's

He actually signed for them in January of last year, not the summer.

Everton are poised to sign the striker Oumar Niasse from Lokomotiv Moscow after having an offer of £13.5m accepted by the Russian club. Niasse is currently in the north-west of England and he and Everton will now attempt to agree personal terms. The 25-year-old Senegal international was scouted extensively by a host of Premier League clubs over the first half of the season, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa having watched him. But it is Everton who have made the firm move.

Sky sources: Florian Thauvin has now arrived in France to open talks with former club Marseille over a return on loan from Newcastle until the end of the season.

Newcastle have made a £21m bid for West Brom striker Saido Berahino, according to Sky sources.

Roma striker Seydou Doumbia is set to undergo a medical at Newcastle ahead of a loan deal for the rest of the season.

Sky sources understand Newcastle's move for Atletico Madrid left back Guilherme Siqueira has broken down after the Brazilian failed to arrive on Tyneside for his medical as planned yesterday, with Valencia now interested. Newcastle remain on the look-out for a left-back as the transfer deadline approaches.

Spurs' Alex Pritchard is set to join Championship side Burnley on loan for the rest of the season, according to Sky sources.

Ross McCormack is close to agreeing an improved extended contract at Fulham. Fulham rejected a transfer request from the Scottish forward earlier in the week, according to Sky sources, amid serious interest from Middlesbrough. Boro are understood to have had two bids rejected for him in the winter transfer window.

Rhodes is staying at Ewood Park :o

Apparently the cost of his wages/bonuses etc. were far too high so Boro pulled the deal, but Rhodes and his camp are denying that? Strange one.

£21million for Saido Berahino!? Are Newcastle now just intentionally parodying "young, English? Add £10mil."?
