Hobo
Alex Teixeira gave an interview to a Liverpool fan site yesterday where he said he has told his agent he wants to go to Liverpool and he's been liking LFC stuff on social media. His manager has come out to say how great he is and he expects to lose him. Meanwhile Liverpool haven't come back with a second bid yet.
stokeriño
Sportitalia are reporting that Jiangsu, having just dumped a load of money for Ramires, are now ready, willing and (g)able to pay Falcao's wages and take him off Chelsea's hands too. I mean, it's so obviously made up. But all the same, DO NOT TOY WITH ME, ITALIAN MEDIA TYPES.
MDK
I completely forgot Falcao was at Chelsea. This lead me to his wiki page and it turns out he is a bit English, his great grandfather was from t' Yorkshire.
Admin Lineker Posted January 28, 2016 Author Admin Report Share Posted January 28, 2016 Tottenham are close to agreeing a deal with Fulham for Moussa Dembélé, with the Premier League club expected to pay an initial £5m to secure the teenage striker. Saido Berahino is set to stay at West Bromwich Albion, with the Baggies not now likely to sell this month. Tottenham and Newcastle are interested in the striker, but with no club getting close to the chairman Jeremy Peace’s valuation of the 22-year-old it is understood the Baggies do not expect to receive an acceptable offer. The Sunderland defender Sebastián Coates has joined Sporting Lisbon on loan for the rest of the season. The 25-year-old Uruguay international headed for Portugal following Sunderland’s capture of the Ivory Coast international Lamine Koné on Wednesday evening and could make his Sporting debut against Académica at the weekend. Coates joined Sunderland from Liverpool, initially on loan, in 2014 and made a permanent move to the Stadium of Light last summer. He made 32 appearances for the club, but has been sacrificed as the manager Sam Allardyce attempts to rebuild his squad while balancing the wage bill. Liverpool are monitoring the midfielder Piotr Zielinski, who is on loan at Empoli from Udinese, with a view to a possible summer deal. Slaven Bilic hopes to complete a loan deal for Emmanuel Emenike in the next couple of days. Bilic wants the Nigeria striker, who has scored seven goals in 11 games for the UAE side Al Ain this season, to boost his attacking options for the Premier League run-in. Nikica Jelavic looks set to make way for Emenike, although the former Everton forward’s proposed switch to the Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande will not be completed just yet. Swansea City have offered Crystal Palace an initial £7.5m for Dwight Gayle as their hunt continues for a striker. The Welsh club, four points above the relegation zone, have 22 goals from 23 Premier League matches this season. Under the proposed deal, Palace would receive a further £500,000 for each season Swansea remain in the Premier League during Gayle’s time at the club, provided he plays a specified number of games each year. But the deal is complicated because a sell-on payment would be due to Peterborough United, from whom the player joined Palace for an initial £3.5m, then the London club’s transfer record, back in 2013. Swansea are on the verge of signing the Chievo striker Alberto Paloschi for around £8m. The transfer fee has been finalised between the two clubs and Paloschi has agreed personal terms with Swansea. Swansea’s head coach Francesco Guidolin says Paloschi, a former Italy Under-21 international, will complete the move when he passes a medical. Watford are set to sign the Spanish midfielder Mario Suárez from Fiorentina for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £4m. The 28-year-old, who has three caps for Spain, only signed for the Serie A side last summer but has failed to settle in Italy. Suárez and Quique Sánchez Flores worked together at Atlético Madrid and the Watford manager believes he can get the midfielder’s career back on track. Suárez has started only eight league games for Fiorentina this season, but while at Atlético he collected six trophies and made his Spain debut in 2013. The player is set to have a medical in London on Thursday and, if he passes that, sign a three-and-a-half year contract at Vicarage Road. Suárez would be Watford’s third January signing, following the arrivals of Nordin Amrabat and Costel Pantilimon.
Adam
I like Dwight Gayle, but that transfer could end up being worth 8 or 9 million and that seems a bit steep for a player who has had a couple of decent scoring spells and doesn't get regular football in a midtable team. Liam
Dembele will be a great purchase for whoever gets him. Quick, strong, an eye for goal. Snip at the price, but he'd go for free at the end of the season and has already had talks with teams like Monaco.

You'll have Mousa Dembele and Moussa Dembele. The younger one has an extra "s" in his first name! This could be my favorite transfer based off of names alone.

Admin Lineker Posted January 28, 2016 Author Admin Report Share Posted January 28, 2016 Jonathan de Guzman has left Napoli on loan for Carpi. Napoli confirmed the deal this evening, and it ends speculation linking the midfielder with a return to the Premier League with Swansea and Bournemouth linked. Wolves have signed Joe Mason from Cardiff City for a fee believed to be around £3m. Mason has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Championship club, and is their second signing today following the permanent arrival of Mike Williamson from Newcastle. TCO
Joe Mason is one of the string of Plastic Paddys from older FMs who'd go on to be a key part of the Ireland squad every game. Admin Lineker Posted January 28, 2016 Author Admin Report Share Posted January 28, 2016 Decent at Championship level. 22 goals in 60 games. Sky sources understand West Brom have approached QPR about taking Sandro on loan until the end of the season. Sandro hasn't featured for QPR since late December, and was linked with Sunderland earlier in the window.
