Ryan Howard would have made all the sense in the world with an AL club. Pinch-hitter, fill-in DH, injury-replacement at 1B. He's not very good but still hit 25 HRs last year. I guess the Braves snagged him in their quest to sell a few more tickets at their new ballpark. If he ever sniffs the majors, last I checked he was relegated to the minors.

Tonight was Bark at the Park Night at Citi Field.

People in the stands were holding up their little dogs like Simba whenever Cespedes would come up to the plate.
