  1. On that subject, are there any really good MyPlayer-type modes in other games? I enjoyed the NBA 2k versions a few years ago, but I understand they've become mires of microtransactions.
  2. RTTS is the mode that I've played by far the most on the two versions of the series I own. I like controlling one player, rather than a whole team, and baseball is a sport that lends itself very well to that style of play. That said, it can get annoying when you're pitching a shutout and your own team can't score. That always seems to happen far too often to me.
  3. England's greatest keeper, I'd say, and I don't think that's a controversial opinion at all. "What a save, Gordon Banks!" is one of English football's greatest commentary soundbites, and it's been immortalised by the Lightning Seeds too.
  4. Ince was one of many rubbish managers at Notts County over the last decade.
  5. I'm quite sure that Skyrim: SE is the full version, with everything that was previously DLC included. It should be on the disc.
  6. When you say "ending fights", are you talking about the end of the game or the boss battles? I have no tips because I haven't played the game, but I'm curious.
  7. Jaime didn't send the assassin, at least in the books. I'm quite sure that's the case in the show too. In one of his POV chapters, he suspects that Joffrey did it to impress Robert Baratheon, who was overheard drunkenly stating that it would be a mercy to kill Bran.
  8. Speaking of redemption, I was wondering what people thought about whether or not a character can truly redeem themselves. I remember a few saying that Jaime could never be redeemed, no matter what he did, with the same thing said for Theon. The Hound, who's probably committed fewer evil deeds, although one of which was still the murder of a child, seems to be widely considered a character who's in line for redemption. Is there a set of boundaries that a character can't cross before they're deemed beyond saving?
  9. The Mountain is, for all intents and purposes, dead anyway. A fight with Sandor would have emotional weight on only one side because The Mountain is now an unfeeling husk, rather than the nasty psychopath he once was. I think I'm somewhere in the middle on Cleganebowl. It's not something I'm particularly excited about, but The Hound's character arc has been so clearly telegraphed towards it that it would feel strange if it didn't happen. What I think I would like is for them to fight and for Sandor to have The Mountain at his mercy, only for Sandor to decide that he doesn't need to deal the killing blow because he's learned that obsessing over such a goal is ultimately pointless. Then he lets Beric finish The Mountain off, fulfilling his duty as commanded by Ned Stark years before.
  10. I can say for certain that I'm not as brave and level-headed as Davos.
  11. I think I agree. He's definitely someone I'd hate to see die.
  12. I should admit that I posted just seconds before Ireland scored at the end. 12 points seems reasonable, but 19 may have been a little much.
  13. No, it's a PS3 exclusive and it isn't on Playstation Now either.
  14. This Ireland/England match has been enjoyable. The margin of victory is perhaps a little wider than the game suggests, but England have been impressive. Meanwhile, Ireland have been making a few too many errors. They'll need to make improvements.
  15. What are these contracts? I have the first (well, the first new one) Hitman and I don't think they're part of it.
  16. Word is that Crackdown 3 is quite average. The destructibility that was touted is very limited and there's not much variety, so I've read. None of the articles I've looked at say it's bad, but none of them say it's particularly good either.
  17. Wargroove is getting plenty of praise. However, the one thing that worries me is that there are no mid-mission save options. I can see that being a massive pain, so I hope they get patched in at some point.
  18. Death and destruction reigns in February's Playstation Plus games: Hitman (PS4) For Honor (PS4) Divekick (PS3/Vita) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3) Gunhouse (PS4/Vita) Rogue Aces (PS4/Vita)
  19. Somewhat semi-intentional there. Literal and metaphorical bollocks have ruined a historic club.
  20. Jaime would be a regular guest character who'd make thinly veiled innuendo towards Cersei, with Ned blissfully oblivious to it.
