I won't be going anywhere near any possible leaks, but I think it goes without saying that the ending will be divisive. George RR Martin has already described the series ending as "bittersweet" long ago, which is always going to lend itself to mixed responses. I'm sure there will be some people on the internet creating petitions to change the ending because that's inevitable with something as popular as this series.

There's a big January sale on PSN right now, presumably because Sony doesn't know how calendars work.

Rob Lowe is filming a series in my local town. Anyway, I don't have many suggestions for adult shows, so I'll draw some attention to Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. It had a proper story arc that slowly uncovered extra details about the Mysterons, including their methods and weaknesses, and there was a really exciting penultimate episode that turned out to be a dream. The final episode was a clip show. I'll also make a blanket statement about all shows that end with a cliffhanger before they get cancelled. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles annoyed me by falling into that trap. Also, on the subject of children's programmes, I'll give a mention to the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon (well, one of two that were broadcast in the mid-1990s), which was another that finished on a cliffhanger.

I honestly have no idea what any of that means.

There really isn't anyone in cycling, athletics or swimming (and probably several other sports) who I'd completely rule out as a drugs cheat. I know that's unfair, but we've seen too many scandals for me to feel otherwise.

I'd be OK with that. Geraint Thomas is another good shout. I think Bianca Walkden is someone who might make the shortlist, but who won't get as many votes as she deserves because her sport isn't popular. I'm not keen on these musical performances they do. Actually, the one Simple Minds did was good, but that's all.

Nothing against Harry Kane, but I think there are plenty of others who have done more in their sports than he has this year, so I'd be disappointed if he won.

To be fair, I watched it recently and thought it was OK. It's crude as all hell, but there's a bit more to it than the trailers would have you think. I wouldn't call it an all-time classic, but it has its moments.

Just watch a trailer. Then you'll hate it more.

Without spoiling anything, is the epilogue any good? I'm quite burnt out after the main story and might give it a break unless the epilogue is really worthwhile.

I enjoy Smash, but I'm definitely way outside the inner circle of fandom. I just like playing around casually and have no idea who's been "nerfed" and who hardcore players wouldn't be seen dead playing as.

Is that the end of UFC on BT Sport now?
