After last night's Raw, I just couldn't resist. So, here's two pics: one on the regular KyKy, and another on one that makes it slightly funnier. Minor Spoilers.

Full out Metroidvania (or Castletroid, whatever) remakes of Castlevania I, II, III and Bloodlines. EDIT: And Mutant League Football. Can't believe I forgot that one.

I don't have any information to give you on the incomplete promotions, but I will say "thanks" and "keep up the good work."

I have some Death of the Territories pics for anyone who wants them. Some of them may be slightly out of era, years-wise, but I like 'em.

In reverse chronological order Bob Dylan: A ticket to this show was a birthday present from my mom. He put on a pretty good show with a good setlist. Pearl Jam: Third time I saw my favorite band and the first time for my mom. Used my fan club membership to get two tickets: one for me and another for her as a birthday gift. By luck, we got in the second row due to "winning the lottery". Got her a pick thrown by Mike McCready. Meat Puppets: Before I saw my favorite band for the third time, I saw my second favorite for the third time in two years. Setlist wasn't all that changed from the previous shows, but seeing the band in a small local bar was just a cool experience. Heart: Went to the state fair to see this great band in 2009. My mom went with me and we both enjoyed it. Good setlist. Wallflowers: My mom and I once again. Free show played out in the street near the local music theater. The Eagles: Another birthday present for my mom. Her favorite band in the local university's basketball arena. Her second Eagles show and the first since seeing them right after Hotel California came out. Meat Puppets: First show I went to of theirs is worth noting because my grandmother actually went with us. She listened to Curt Kirkwood's acoustic solo album and liked it and wanted to see him. Tried to explain the Meat Puppets stuff but she still wanted to go. First song was a full rock arrangement of one of the solo songs. Yeah, my family's actually kind of cool, music wise. Stone Temple Pilots: Played a Kansas City rock station's Halloween festival in 2003, I think, right before their initial break up. Played a short set (lots of acts) in the growing cold. Earshot: Same festival. They were okay. Pearl Jam: First show for me in 2003 (later see them again in 2004). Worth mentioning for the fact that it was played in a huge thunderstorm. If you listen to the official bootleg close enough, you can hear the thunder. Red Hot Chili Peppers: My first rock concert in 2000 (previous acts were country). Good setlist, but only okayseats due to general admission and me getting there a little later than most (I lived 15 miles away at the time and it was on a weekday...) Foo Fighters: Same concert, actually enjoyed them more. I remember a good setlist, but I lost the site where it was written down. As for the country acts, I saw Travis Tritt about three times (he actually came to Columbia quite often in the early 90s, IIRC), one of his openers was Trisha Yearwood right after she hit the country charts. Saw Reba several times, same with Sawyer Brown. That's all I can remember right now.

Ouch... Didn't have a lot of trouble with that fight, but I got slaughtered through the whole weekend by Kefka leading the attack on the Esper. I finally beat him this morning by cheating a bit, putting together a strike team with Terra, Cyan and Gau and fighting their way through the entire Imperial line while the other two teams protected Banon. In the end, I barely won. Terra and Gau were killed by Kefka's magic and Cyan was down to his last 24 HP. I actually managed to get one last Flurry Bushido off which managed to hurt Kefka enough to flee. I still can't believe I won that fight...

Nice hype-building thread. I can't wait for the actual release now. I've been playing the original TEW iDom for a while now and it's my second favorite scenario behind only Death of the Territories. Good job on the scenario as a whole.

Quitting for the evening. I managed to defeat Ultros and watched Sabin jump into the water after him like an idiot. Oh well, at least he never was actually presumed dead only to pop up later like in another good Final Fantasy game. I actually chose Sabin's story arc first and made it to Doma. Cyan's pretty cool and the Phantom Train sequence was really nice. Just added Gau to the party and made it to the base of the Crescent Mountains. Here's a status pic.

No, I didn't. I remedied that and won with a slight bit of difficulty. I'm following Sabin's storyline right now. As for Auto-crossbow, I know how broken it can be. I exploited a bug in an earlier attempt at a playthrough that allowed me to get nearly infinite XP. Go in a circle in the river and have a turbo controller keep hitting the 'confirm' button. I left for an hour and came back to godly PCs.

Well, it happened: my first defeat. I'm racing down the Lehe River and met up with Ultros, I think his name is. A big battle ensued with Terra getting knocked out several times and Banon spamming his prayer power. Sadly, after some time and enough damage to the squid that would likely cause him to drop in a few more rounds, he got a lucky shot in on Banon, killing him and ending the game. I'm going to try again later this afternoon and hopefully do much better.

Okay, I caved in. Started playing VI this evening after D&D. Not very far along at all, as I'm right at the gates of Figaro. I let the moogles take the brunt of the guard assault in the tactical minigame, and only one--poor Mugmug--fell to the enemy. Here's a screencap.

Well, since the majority of you all are playing VI, I'm wondering if I should switch to that or not. I have the same version you have, Kent, and really it's a wonder I'm not playing my PS1 version of IV instead of the GBA one.

At the end of the first day, I'm playing Final Fantasy IV using the Game Boy Advance version. I've currently just beaten the antlion and Rosa has just joined the party. Cecil is currently lvl. 16

I'm looking forward to a playthrough, as well. If we're taking votes, I'd have to go with VI. Of the PS2 ones, I'd say XII, as I haven't really even played it.

I have Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2 on both PS2 and PC. The first Battlefront was a result of buying the Best of PC compilation for KotOR and Republic Commando. The second one because I found out how better Battlefront was on PC.

That's my only issue with the scenario, but otherwise it's really great.

Man, damn near all of his movies were great. RIP, Hughes.

Other than really enjoying the new Knights of the Old Republic comic and watching Darth Revan acquire his famous mask, I bought Usagi Yojimbo 60-62. Sadly, my comic store didn't have 66 and 63, making me those issues away from having a 60-120 run of the third volume. Naturally, those two comics have become the hardest comics for me to find. Anyone else have a problem like this? With being a few issues short of a run.

Same here. This was so far away from my mind when I heard rumors of a resurrection of an old LucasArts series. Amazingly, I'm so happy that I don't care that it's not a new X-wing/TIE Fighter game. Quite possibly, it's even better.

Once again, I was the 2005 Boston Red Sox, celebrating Manny's 400th home run. I was an orphaned gunfighter in the old west, raising hell in a town (Gun), as well as a Republic soldier who has crash landed on a planet-wide city (KotOR)

Knights of the Old Republic definately. I went into the game five years after it was first released and I knew the Spoiler at the end. Although it was fun playing "Who knew and when did they know it", it's obviously not the same. The Resident Evils, so I wouldn't be expecting the jump scares and that sheer panic of when you hear "S.T.A.R.S. ..." being growled in RE3 would bring back that primal terror that I experienced when I first played the game.

Today, I've been a Chinese warlord (RotK XI), the 2005 Boston Red Sox (MVP Baseball 2005), and a British officer in the RAF (Combat Flight Simulator 3).
