So my copy of Black Midi Hell Fire on vinyl arrived. I'm currently listening to it off my nut on mushrooms, this is the best album of the year. This is fucking incredible, shut it down, this is just mother fucking perfection. I adore it.

I pefer the pros myself, but I'm so completely fascinated with the history and just the sheer volume of interesting match ups.

I am watching Washington whoop MSUs ass and fucking loving it. I really fucking hate Michigan State. I love college football though. I can't pretend like I know every player across the country but I dig this shit. I just fucking love have so much football on Saturdays, always a good game to be found.

Bob Dylan is a good shout. I didn't care about him for years, but then I heard Subterranean Homesick Blues, which I was familiar with but for whatever reason it really captured my attention this time around. I ended up becoming a big fan of his other work. The Reatards are another, kind of never fussed about them but gave them a second chance. Its not ground breaking stuff but pretty cool dirty garage punk.

So I've really enjoyed hard knocks this season. I like our team and the personalities on it, hope this is the right regime because they're just easy to root for.

Sam Martin is another pretty good punter that just got cut. He was good in Detroit anyway (lord knows he got his share of punts in here...). Buffalo has options.

Yes. I also don't think people realize that Kurt had a hand in getting some lesser known bands some notoriety such as the Vaselines or Meat Puppets. I always liked that. But yea. Nirvana was a great band, probably not a big surprise that I'd call Bleach my favorite but I like everything else they did. I mean people can critique Kurt as not being a great guitar player or whatever (not true...he was great) but dude literally influenced an entire generation to pick up a guitar. Pretty reminiscent of the Ramones actually, he gave you the feeling you could pick up and play but didn't need a fucking expensive ass Les Paul to get some really gritty riffs.

Royal Rumbles are a lot of fun. Probably the most of I've enjoyed the feature in a long long time.

Yes, I've listened to the album and this is spot on. I love the album and would like to get a physical copy. I need to hear it in my home stereo. Its chaotic and wild but very musical and tight if that makes sense. I even pick up a bit of Frank Zappa and Primus in parts. The guitar and drum especially in Welcome to Hell reminds me of Primus, but these guys are more interesting (and I like Primus a lot). But its definitely its own unique thing, definitely right up my alley. Gonna have to backtrack on the rest of their stuff.

Grand Theft Auto but set in the Old West.... Ok but seriously I don't know. I like Kraigs Streets of Rage and Final Fight Mashup. Maybe Rockstar could dig out the engine for the Warriors.

I'm fucking digging this preseason game. I know its meaningless but damn its fun.

I just procured tickets for Melt Banana in October. They're doing a huge tour and passing through Michigan. I couldn't pass this opportunity up. I like them a lot, but don't listen to them a ton but feel like it is a live experience I can't miss. So my concert itinerary for the year stands at Bauhaus, Billy Bragg, and Melt Banana. Billy and Banana (lol) are the same weekend. All three are very much "see them now otherwise you'll regret it" shows for me. Very excited.

I know preseason game 1 is silly but I am excited to get a glimpse at the Lions tonight. I hoping for atleast three knee caps bitten. Actually do want to see how some of the later draft picks look from this year and last, see if there's a potential diamond in the rough.

Finally got around to watching Sorry to bother you, I loved it. Thought it was excellent, funny, great soundtrack.
