Anyone watching the Mets game right now?  I was flickin channels, stopped, and Tom Glavine was running the bases in a windbreaker jacket.  First time I've seen anything like that.

That happens all the time up North in cold weather. There's nothing more boring than seeing a bat boy come out to give the pitcher his jacket because his arm might get cold. Pitchers are such pussies :angry:

I know that they usually keep warm, but I never saw a player on the field wearing a jacket. Just the jersey and whatever getup is showing from underneath. Like turtlenecks or sweatshirts.

Shows how often I watch NL games...

The Cubbies curse continues. I'll guess that Prior or Wood will go down right before Nomar comes back. I know I shouldn't pile on Chicago, but this is still funny stuff to me since these guys can't catch a break.

It's not funny for the fans like me and ACS <_<

Anybody else play that Beat The Streak game from mlb.com? I started two days ago, so I've got a two game streak with Manny Ramirez and Pujols. But tonight I've got Justin Morneau, who should come through against the Royals for me. Pretty cool game.

Are my eyes deceiving me?

What the hell? A prospect? Huh? From the Yankees farm system? What? And he doesn't suck?

Chien-Ming Wang was great today. His delivery made me nervous, but he appeared to have some good stuff. He should be a nice little youth injection to the ancient starting 5.

The Yankees had a farm system? I never knew that even existed. That and a Yankee under the age of 33. Or a Yankee making under 5M this year.
