And so the 03/04 season came to an end.

Allow me to demonstrate just how close Kidderminster Harriers were to being relegated from the Second Division:

Club.............................W......D......L.......GF.....GA.....Pts

20] Kidderminster.....13.....11.....22.....70.....91.....50

---------------------------------------------------------------------- (Relegation Line)

21] Barnsley.............13.....11.....22.....56.....77.....50

22] Plymouth............13.....10.....23.....57.....74.....49

23] Rushden..............11.....14.....21.....57.....78.....47

24] Boston Utd.........11.....13.....22.....57.....74.....46

Now I've got the summer to watch Euro 2004 roll by, and also consider my options.

So far in my career game, my seasons have gone as thus:

01/02 - Ross County (Scottish 1st Div):

- Finished 3rd in league

- Knocked out in 1st Round of Scottish Cup

- Knocked out in 1st Round of Scottish League Cup

- Won the Scottish League Challenge Cup

*Became manager of Kidderminster Harriers*

02/03 - Kidderminster (English 3rd Div):

- Finished 3rd in league (automatic promotion)

- Knocked out in 4th Round of FA Cup

- Knocked out in 1st Round of League Cup

- Knocked out in 2nd Round of Vans Trophy

03/04 - Kidderminster (English 2nd Div):

- Finished 20th in league

- Knocked out in 2nd Round of FA Cup

- Knocked out in 1st Roun dof League Cup

- Knocked out in 1st Round of Vans Trophy

Quite frankly I can't stand the thought of another year at this club. I want to get the hell out of here as soon as humanly possible...

Can someone do me a huge favour and link me to the latest CM4 patch (assuming I don't need all the others first)?

I just reinstalled because my data got corrupted and I needed to reformat anyway, so I did, and then realised I'd forgotten to copy the patches to disk :(

I know I *could* find it myself, but it's much easier to ask someone else :shifty:

With Fulham in my first season i've been havin a lot of success. I'm currently in 7th place, which guarantees me a european spot. I'm kinda mad though, cuz before I was battling out with the top dogs for a Champions League spot and now i'm barely gonna qualify, that is if i stay in my current position. Spurs, Leeds and Rovers are all after my spot and I haven't been playing good lately.

Guest The Rocket

I'm in 2009 with Newcastle and I'm having a bit of a clear out of my team. I sold Jan Kristiansen to Liverpool for £25 million and Ronaldinho and Pletikosa are leaving on free transfers at the end of the season. Jenas might also be leaving soon as he is angry with me and has an unprotected contract and Tottenham and Liverpool have been interested but the might not be able to afford his £90,000 a week wages. I'm second in the league 1 point behind Man Utd but we've been in good form recently and don't have many injuries so we have a good sot at winning the Premiership. When I sold Kristiansen to Liverpool they went into debt and then Houllier left them to manage Southampton, so I'm hoping they go bankrupt and I can pick up a few players for cheap.

My team is:

Gk: Kasper Schmeichel

DC: Lucio

DC: John Terry/Boumsong

DC: Phillipe Mexes

DML: De La Cuesta

DMR: Aaron Hughes

MC: Nathan Doyle/ Jermaine Jenas

MC: Scott Parker/ Tariq Nabil

AMC: Diego/ Phillip Gilder

SC: Bellamy/ Ronaldinho

SC: Ameobi/Bellion

Finally got a copy of CM03/04 (well, it was only £15.99) - started a game with Chelsea. I am currently halfway through the season (just beat Doncaster in the FA Cup 3rd round in January)...and am still unbeaten. Tsk.

Players bought:

* Lucio (£10m) - apparently he's caused my shirt sales to go up. *shrugs*

* Paulo Ferreira (£5m) - I love him, simply because it entertains me so much that whenever he gets the ball in the 2D Match mode, you can hear the fans immediately boo. Yes, CHELSEA fans - if I'm correct in thinking that one speaker is for home and one for away fans. The phenomenon of Ferreira Heat is running wild baby.

* Zinedine Zidane (£19.75m) - And this is why you should ALWAYS make enquiries for random players even if you don't think you have a chance in hell. Skimming down the list "Arsenal don't want to sell Henry; Liverpool don't want to sell Gerrard etc." then there's "Real Madrid would be willing to accept £19.75m for Zinedine Zidane". This announcement was closely followed by the sound of my jaw hitting the floor.

Players sold: None (what, I'm Chelsea...)

FIRST XI

GK Carlo Cudicini (one of my 'star players', they tell me)

DR Paulo Ferreira (Ferreira Heat oh hell yeah)

DL Wayne Bridge (gets lots of 9s, 10s, and MOTMs...but no real recognition)

DC William Gallas (stop trying to buy him from me dammit I said NO!)

DC Lucio (does his job and does it with style)

MR Jesper Gronkjaer (another of my 'star players', the 2D match view shows just how devastating he is)

ML Damien Duff (not as good as Gronkjaer, but pulls out the odd goal on regular occasion)

MC Claude Makelele (screw Patrick Viera, I don't need him after all)

MC Zinedine Zidane (don't even think about trying to take the ball off him, because you know he's just Better Than You)

FC Adrian Mutu (sets up a tonne of goals, and scores a fair few too. 16 so far in 25 competitive games)

FC Herman Crespo (31 goals in 22 competitive games. Need I say more)

My other 'star player' is Mario Melchiot...but I think they're lying. :shifty:

o0o, i always thought they were the best players on the team. I thought my team had sunk to a new low when Barry Hayles had a star next to him.

I've just started a new game with Arsenal, I usually play with nationwide teams but I decided to go with Arsenal this time. I'm half way through my second season, winning the premiership on the last day with a 4-4 against Newcastle as well as winning the League Cup and Champions League and losing in the FA Cup Final.

Goalkeeper

Jens Lehman/Helton

- It's a tough decision deciding on who to start as Lehamn was number 1 last season before I bought Helton, managing to get 30+ cleansheets from around 50 odd games. Lehman hasn't been as good this season but that's mainly due to a failed tactical experiment where I went for a free roaming attacking midfielder, a holding midfielder, two wingers, two strikers and three central defenders. Helton has been in goal for the last three games and has kept three clean sheets.

Defenders

Left Back - Ashley Cole

Right Back - (I forget his first name) Cyan, Lauren and Toure alternate games

Central Defenders - Sol Campbell and Sami Hyypia

Subs - Phillipe Mexes (CD), Andrew O'Brien (CD) and Neil Clement (LB)

- I started the season with three at the back, changing from the sucessful 4-4-2 formation of recent years and although it started well it went down hill from then on. The back four hasn't changed much, apart from the subs who are all being built to take over the roles of the first team when they decide to retire. Te defence has been solid only letting in 14 goals during the Premiership game last season. Hyypia I got on the cheap, £2.5mil exactly. I still don't know why Liverpool let him go so cheap.

Midfield

Left Wing - Ronaldinho

Right Wing - Freddie Ljungberg and Robert Pires alternate

Central Midfielders - Patrick Viera and Steven Gerrard

Subs - Jerome Thomas (LW, RW, CM), Fabio Paim (LW, RW), Scott Parker (CM, RW) and Ray Parlour (CM)

- The midfield is very strong, with Viera and Gerrard holding the midfield giving Ronaldinho, Ljungberg and Pires to do what they please down the wings. Fabio Paim is a 14 year old I picked up I think from Porto or Lisbon. He started a dozen and a half or so games last season racking up double figures in both assists and man of the match awards. Jerome Thomas is from the youth team and started pretty much every game last season as a first team member was out injured pretty much every game and did so well he got an England call up and hasn't been out of the team since getting 4 caps, 1 being a start. I picked up Ronaldinho for £47.5mil and he was the reason for the failed tactical experiment, but he's settled in just as well on the left.

Strikers

Thierry Henry and Michael Owen

Subs - Djibril(sp?) Cisse, Jeremie Alliadiere, Dennis Bergkamp and Veiriniho(sp?)

- Henry and Owen are deadly, both picking up 30+ goals last season and are well past 20 this season. Alliadiere had a superb season last campaign racking up 18 goals in 23 starts and 18 subs appearences. Cisse signed during the window last season but had a tough time settling in but has doneso this season knocking in 14 goals.

At the moment I'm sitting 3rd in Premier behind Chelsea and Middlesborough who managed to secure the contract of Mendieta, Viduka, Kluivert, Lizarazu, Wiltord and Nedved last season. I don't know how they did it but they did and they currently sit top of the league, whilst I'm still in all three cups.

Actually, those players with a star (*) next to their names are 'fan favourites'.

I see...well I think they used to be the 'star players' back in CM3, so I realise my mistake. This also explains why 1) I can, unlike before, see them during the game, and 2) they change so often, but most of all it explains Mario Melchiot's inclusion. Why? Because he's the alternative right back in place of Paolo Ferreira!! It's Ferreira Heat I tell you~!!

and i'm happy, with my Fulham team i've signed a bunch of talented youngsters and i got Jesper Gronkjaer coming in the summer. I signed him in an old game and he was a god, so hopefully this move pays off.

I'm in the 08/09 season and am currently with Stuttgart in Germany. I also manage the Turkish national side. We upset a few teams on the way to the Euro Cup finals, where we lost to Belgium on an injury time goal. To solve my anger problems I went out and spent Stuttgart's entire 55 million transfer fund, mostly on young players. Paid 15 mil for Rungratsamee, who was God for me while I was at Deportivo, and paid 23 mil for Kasper Schmeichel, ok so I overpaid alot, but sue me I have a soft spot for the kid, who I also brought to Deportivo. I'm convinced that I currently have the best strikeforce in all of Europe, if not the world. The trio of Kuranyi, Rungratsamee, and Nihat is AMAZING. This makes my 4 club side, as I started with Deportivo, moved on to Middlesbrough after winning 3 consecutive Spanish titles, then moved back to Barca, before getting fired for the first time in my career. The bastard board gave me 33 million for transfers despite the club having well over 150 million dollars available, so I issued an ultimatum and got canned. Worked out though because Turkey approached me two days later. Also an interesting note, 2 former assistant managers and 3 different coaches from my days in Deportivo all now manage teams in the major leagues.
