EWB's Desert Island Discs

Recommended Posts

Radio 4 in the UK does something about what albums you'd take if you were stuck on a desert island. I never listen but apparantly they do books and stuff too. I dunno.

Still, EWB has it's own version now (whoo). Why not show your love for certain products but these are the rules:

1) This desert island has power (I dunno, people just left the island in a hurry) and has every gaming console and computer new and old on it. It also has TV's, CD players and record players. You've got an ipod.

2) Your choices aren't neccearily your favourites but more which ones you'd get most use and pleasure out of (sometimes favourites are more of a special "every now and then" thing.

3) You're gonna be stuck for an indeterminable amount of time. There's no internet connection, no mobile phone signal, no NUFFINK!

So, bearing all that in mind...

If you were to be stuck on the desert island which of the following would you ake with you....

1) Five complete musical albums.

2) Five books (fiction or non-fiction).

3) Three video games (remember you can't play multiplayer).

4) Also, there's one takeaway on the island for food. What would it be or which country's cuisine would it serve?

Games:

Football Manager, cos it can fill a helluva lot of time.

Metal Gear Solid (either 3 or Portable Ops, undecided)

So a management game, an adventure game, probably need a race game like Toca Race Driver 3 or Gran Turismo. Hardly my favourite games but they'd get more play than some others I prefer in such a situation. Either that or Pro Cycling Manager which is greatness.

Food:

Chinese Takeaway. Fills you up and then five minutes later you're hungry again...So more delicious Chinese! And if I'm not in the mood for Chinese, the takeaway I used to work in served chips, steak, pork chop, omelettes, all kinda cool stuff....
