Reading for me too.

Kevin Doyle and Leroy Lita have scored way too many goals against me. The better team i am, the more they usually score aswell.

just do what i did and sign lita, hes actually fucking awesome after a couple of seasons or so.

I have done that a few times to break up their partnership, only had the player turn out decent once when i bought Doyle for Man Utd. Though i had Martin Palermo in my team aswell in that game :/

Year and a half, really. It beats paying him 400k a month.

I WENT BACK IN MY COMPUTER'S TIME TO RETRIEVE MY NEWCASTLE GAME ELLIS. Nihat nihat nihat

Edit: Hahahaha oh god Pedro Mendes threw a random right hook to Joey Barton's mug. I love you Joey. You're the X factor to opposite team's reds.

Currently playing as Tamworth, came third in Blue Sq. North and won the play-offs to go the premier with a squad mostly unchanged from the start of the game. After about two months in, the whole board take over thing took place and it was looking like I was going to be getting the sack but fortunatley the new boss was impressed by the support I got from others at the club.

Added a couple extra spare keepers and a Nigerian/Irish striker, Emenka Onwukibo, who's deadly on front of goal. Also signed an unbelivable Serbian Attacking mid, Nikon Jevtic, who, for some reason, was a free agent at the start of he game (FM07) and rejected bigger clubs to come to me. At the end of the season he was the target of Liverpool, Man Utd, Portsmouth, Marseille and others but he musn't have a very high ambition stat or something because he singed a new contract with me which has tied him in til 2011, although he may be gone before then if he is by that stage unwilling to sign again and/or his value is too much to refuse offers for.

Went full time profesional when we went up but have had a horrible start to the season, loosing alot of games. Having gone out of the cup in the very first round we were entered the previous year, I feared the same again as we were drawn with Cambridge who are better then us in the same league, but we managed a famous 3-1 victory to reach the FA Cup 1st round, where we were drawn at home to Brighton. Unbelivably we won 2-0, in one of my greatest FM victories ever! We were ahead 1-0 for most of the match but although Brighton were attacking for most of it you could tell it wasnt their day and my man Jevtic added a second in injury time for us. We are now unbeaten in 5.

PS: we were just drawn away to either Accrington or Barnet, two L2 clubs, in the next round of the cup.

Edit again: Im so exited I had to update! After drawing away to Barnet 1-1, we beat them 3-1 at home to go into the 3rd round of the cup. I was hoping for a big name for the pay day but got Stockport away. Yet again I didnt think we would have a chance as they are flying in League 2, while we are drawing most of our games and rearly winning, hanging around 18th in the league. We also were unfortunate to recieve a rediculous string of injurys with my 3 keepers, my capatain/central defensive rock Gerry Taggart, and the aforementioned Jevtic and Onwukibo all out for a few weeks. Anyway, the game was freakin unbelivable, we were winning 4-3 at half time and went on to win 5-4, we are officially cup specialists! We've drawn Championship Watford in the next round.

It was of my favorite FM moments when Rooney netted a hat trick against Reading and then 5 minutes after his third goal Murty decided he had enough and punched him out.

I much prefer my Julio Baptista's 6 goals and then getting sent off.

Well, my Tamworth side eventually lost to Watford, 4-1, with their first three coming in the first 25 minutes. I noticed after that every other team in the round were either in the Premiership or Championship (bar one League 1 side), which I was proud of. We ended the season abismally, loosing a game 4-5 after being 4-0 up and loosing the following game, 5-0, but we managed to stay up with the last game to spare. Now, the following season, we have retained our position of FA Cup upset kings, knocking out League 1 Swansea away 2-1 in the first round! We have a good squad this year no dept and lost about 8 games in a row at the start of the league campaign, mostly due, I think, to having a ridiculous string of injuries taking out 6 or 7 first team players.

6 goals?

That is more than he's scored throughout an entire season for me.

I think it was FM05 where Baptista was actually a Dm but with 20 finishing and anticipation, he scored 43 goals in 1 season for me from midfield, always popping up on the edge of the box and smashing em in.

I think I may have created my best ever team on any FM too. 2014 and I've just won the quadruple (quintuple if you count the Community Shield) with Newcastle.

Playing a 4-2-3-1

GK - Diego Caliveri (Captain) £10m from Blackburn / Joe Hart - £3m from Man City

DR - Daniel Alves - £26m from Liverpool / Jose San Roman - £6m from Barcelona

DL - Taye Taiwo - £14m from Marseilles / Gonzalo Pineda - £4m from Chivas

DC - Cristian Zapata - £23m from Udinese / Federico Fazio - £5m from Sevilla

DC - Mamadou Sahko (Vice Captain) - £8m from PSG / Gonzalo Rodriguez - £5m from Spurs

MC - Jean Il Makoun - £10m from Lille / Joey Barton - only original player left

MC - Ilsinho £11m from Shaktar / Leon Andreasen - £6m from Fulham

AMR - Asamoah Gyan £12m from Udinese / Aaron Lennon - £1m from Spurs

AMC - Daniel Carvalho - £16m from Porto / Damien Le Tallec - £3m from Rennes

AML - Silva - £42m from Valencia / Aquino - £4m from Murcia

FC - Adriano £7m fron Inter / Klaas Jan Huntelaar - £9m from AC Milan (Requested Transfer Bargain!) / Xisco - £7m Villareal

Adriano still banging em in but his legs are going now so Huntelaar will be starting more games, Silva is an absolute beast, 20 goals, 25 assists, well worth the £42m I paid. Carvalho had 21 assists too.

Beat Real 1-0 in the CL final, Man Utd 8-2 on agg in the semis, beat Reading 3-0 in the FA Cup Final, Man City 2-0 in the League Cup Final, walked the Prem by 12 points, only losing twice (our only two losses all season) 1-0 at Old Trafford and 2-0 at Anfield, which was surprising as Liverpool are dire at the minute, finshed 13th last season. Man Utd's financial woes are starting to bite as they have sold both Rooney and Ronaldo (£57m each to Juventus and Real respectively). I think I'll play a few more seasons at Newcastle, try and get the England job and then drop down into League 2 for some LLM fun - at the rate their going it may be the now League One Derby, lol, Drogba as manager :)

For some reason Liverpool always do crap on FM i mean in my Villa game that i haven't played for ages there floating around like 14th, 15th

In my old Liverpool/Valencia game i did after i won the Prem in my final season they finished like 12th with a really good team but they won the Champions League.

Always with Man.U too they don't really challenge but they end up like 3rd or 4th and Fergie will leave after a season or two than Javier Aguierre i can't spell his surname or remember it the Mexican always ended up becoming their manager

I fucking hate away goals

Second round of the Champions League with Spurs against Real, already 2-0 down from the first leg I really didn't expect much but the game decided to bring my hopes up with Ledley King of all people getting two goals and Diagne-Faye getting one around the 111th minute. I am jumping about celebrating as the referee awards 3 minutes of added time, on the 93rd Baptista scores a 30 yard piledriver and Real go through.

It's so painful

What is this game trying to do to me!?

I (Preston!!!) absolutely dominated Arsenal for 90 odd minutes, we were deservedly 1-0 up for most of the game until Eduardo equalises due to some lax marking in the 86th, then in the 6th minute of stoppage time (only 4 were added on originally :|) Silva pops up to win it for the poxy Gunners. I wouldnt mind, but it isnt even the first time this season. >_<

Yeah, I seemed to have quite a few late goals scored against me when I was Preston as well. Maybe they generally lack in concentration or something?
