Dossena's improved as pre-season's gone on. Looked a little shaky in his first game, but since then has looked like the marauding full-back we were promised. Expect the phrase "gets caught out of position far too often" to be used to described him every weekend this season though, even though that's what happens when you have an attacking full-back that does his job and gets forward.

Plessis looks really promising. Played against Arsenal last season and didn't look out of place, and I think it was the Rangers match where he taught Gerrard a lesson about playing in central midfield. He's a bit like Sissoko but with the ability to pass and control the ball.

They haven't done that much, we've caused the problems for ourselves. Lack of composure on the ball from everyone (HOOOOOOOOF!) means we're not getting the ball to the front four often enough, and when they do get it it's usually a flick on.
