lanky316
So now he's playing Lennon on his preferred right and using a left winger on the left? Revolutionary ideas in the England management. Of course we SHOULD win comfortably tonight, let's see the media talk it up briefly for a couple of days as the fifth goes in.
ZJ Penn
Ugh. Not Downing. Jesus Christ. Where's Trevor Sinclair when you need him?
Summers
Barry was robbed!
Asuka's Gonna Kill You
While I wouldn't wish injury on anyone, it's a good thing for England that Lampard is out, I think he's been poor for quite sometime for England down, it'll give them a chance to see how they fair without him. Oh and is Nugent even on the bench tonight? If not, why did they bother calling him up? Same with Barry really. Should be good tonight, Scotland/Italy too which should be a really good game. Surprised by how good Scotland have been doing, so really Italy need a win tonight. Should be a good game to watch.
therockbox
Rooney'll be sent off before the end of the game.

Bigal
What's the team? The BBC website doesn't seem to have it.
therockbox
Same as Saturday, but with Downing instead of Lampard (whose injured, apparantly). Proper fullbacks as well (Richards and Cole). Edited March 28, 2007 by therockbox

therockbox
25 minutes and we've had one decent effort from Gerrard. Comfortably saved though.

therockbox
Seriously, did Barry rape McClaren's mother? How Downing is getting in the squad ahead of him is beyond me.

Summers
I'm glad Downing missed that, because if it went, people would use it to warrant his inclusion, when, IMO, he could score 3 today & still not deserve to start.

Guest Ringu
I was watching this match half-assedly and then turned the channel away. If I lived in England I'd hunt down McLaren just to spit at his face. But it's far. Someone do it for me.
Lord Nibbler
Could Lampard's injury be the catalyst to England performing well?
