It probably would've been different if an actual team rather than a select XI were playing them. They really didn't look all that great.

Glad he's fit though, I think he's been a good buy. He cost nothing and apparently earned less then Ben Foster and I don't think it's a co-incidence that Rooney's goal poaching instincts got so much better with him around and he's a good person to teach Macheda and the like

Story has to be bullshit. Everything else aside, why would Zenit come in and bid £21m for a player who cost £18m a year ago and has spent much of the time inbetween injured?

Chelsea wouldn't sell him anyway, because all of a sudden we'd need to find another backup left-back and that's crap we wouldn't care to deal with.

Well, Fabio Aurelio was released on a free transfer by Liverpool, nobody else wants him, so unless Liverpool want him ba..oh, nevermind.

Cept Campbell just got married to a woman...

Elton John had a wife too. There's loads of cases of gay men marrying women because it's the "right thing to do", given the long standing rumours about Campbell (given a little weight by his breakdown when a "gay England and top premiership defender" was about to be named) it wouldn't surprise me if it was a sham marriage. Surprised in this day and age people are still nervous of homosexuality in football, couldn't care less ultimately (anticipates the chants though).
