Given the fans' respect for him, it would have been difficult for them not to offer him the job on a permanent basis. I'll be interested to see how he does after a full summer of preparation and what looks likely to be a better transfer budget than Hodgson got last year. Once this season is over, the honeymoon period will surely be over and the real test will start for Dalglish. I'm no Liverpool fan, but I still hope he copes well with the raised expectations.

I call it now, Liverpool to get relegated next season because they have a worse squad than Leeds 03-04.

Honestly though this is massive news for Liverpool, it's obviously what every fan and player wanted.

I did like the Maxi one, hadn't heard a Heart Beat chant in a long while. One of my favourites at the moment is Park's song for us.

Yeh the Maxi chants been one of my favourites atm. Just so catchy haha, he reminds me of Luis Garcia.
