I think the passings more realistic then last years constant "ping pong" passing you'd get where people would keep clicking A loads. It'll take a while to get used to but i think it'll be better

I met up with some frinds tonight and we played both the Fifa 11 and the latest PES demo. We pritty much concluded that PES has regained the spot of better gameplay. Some of the new Fifa animations are pritty awsome though. Maybe i´ll get PES this year and wait till Fifa 12.

Yup, I use R1 to sprint. I always thought the 'more you hold R2 down, the faster you run' feature was in the game anyway. >_>

It's definitely a lot slower than FIFA 10, but not as slow as 08, which I like. I haven't really seen if the shooting has been altered all that much due to the 3 min halves thing - I think we only got 2 mins a half last year, so it's slowly getting longer.

I really like the new passing mechanic, and some of the subtleties that could be attributed to this Personality Plus system are cool too - can't wait for the full game to come out.

Also, the small touch of Martin Tyler announcing the referee's name for the game and a quick comment on his style is cool too.

To me, this feels like last years game. The graphics and camera angles have improved 100 fold, which is fantastic, but to me, once you take out the CPU doing skill moves, it plays like last years game. That's not in itself a particularly bad thing, but it means I simply can't really see the point in buying it, just for updated teams and better graphics. Not when it plays 99% the same as last time out; which while good wasn't perfect by any means.

I'm not sure i'd be interested again but I do wanna play the goalie mode. That and clubs should be a little better now we should have some exploits fixed (though i'm sure there will be new ones), although they really should patch them out rather than expect us to just buy the new game.

And since I forgot to mention it yesterday, fuck penalties. I hold the left stick to the right, tap shoot as the slider thing reaches the green spot. The ball promptly flies out of the stadium. Ok, I thought, maybe I have to aim the shot after I set the power and accuracy? I do that but my player ends up kicking it right down the middle, letting the goalie catch it easily. This happened over and over, the only reason it did is because 4 out of the 5 AI players did the delay trick on their penalties and ended up missing. The best one was Daniel Sturridge who did it and ended up falling on his arse.

Push the stick slightly in the direction, it really should have a tutorial like the wc game. Also, everyone should use co-op camera, it's wonderful.

In the arena when your doing pens click LT and a help thing comes up showing where the penalty is gonna go. It's useful to try and get used to the aiming

Oh dear .... I've been terrible at FIFA for a while now and it seems that I'll be complete and utter trash this year.

Penalties are the easiest thing ever. It should have a tutorial like the World Cup game did, but it's still not that hard. Like mario said, seeing the target reticule and being able to visualise that when taking penalties in a match helps tons. But at the same time, fuck penalties, after every single fucking match. So annoying, I've started giving them an own goal if we're drawing at the 80th minute just so it goes to the rematch screen quicker.

I like it so far, the personality plus stuff actually makes it more interesting, but the passing is just weird. It never ever seems to go to the person I want it to, like several times I've had a player pass the full width of the pitch, from one wing to the next, literally rolling the ball past the central player who I WANTED the ball to go to, which is rubbish. Theres probably a setting to fuck around with, but eh.

I like the new celebrations. It seems a bit harder to actually pull one off since you seem to automatically swerve towards your nearest teammate for a hug, but this was awesome. I scored with Fabregas, started doing a celebration when Van Persie appears and GORE GORE GOREs me to the ground.

Hi guys, 2 of my teammates from PPB already have the game since yesterday, talked with them a bit, and thought i'd share it with the rest.

1. NO Custom Club Formations - Only for offline and 1v1s - You can only choose default formations for club, I guess it goes hand in hand so we won't see 6 - 7 defenders in a formation anymore

2. Dressing Room - There are no more 3 rooms - It's simple, you pick your formation and the position and wait until an opponent decides to play you

* For those teams like PPB who have more than 1 squad you will have to wait until the other squad gets a game, no more 3 seperate rooms, similar to FIFA 09 clubs

3. NO More VP Transfer - Yes, im being honest.. My mate has gone thru the steps to transfer his VP to another account, note: the size of the data is much larger..

It says the data is corrupted, he followed all the right steps as well, probably the worst news guys

The Positive: No more Fun clubs

The Negative : Have to build up your VP on every account

4. The Accomplishments - From what iv'e heard these are quite simple until you reach 30% then it's gets very difficult and stressful, hopefully your entire team is good enough to get up to 80% and above

5. The Intro Music, Club Chants - It's a good start, but some songs you can barely hear, but it really depends on the song you choose

6. The VP Menu - Pretty much looks the same as FIFA 10, only difference is the Personality and Traits have a new page, the boots look amazing for those who care

7. Default Players - Just found this 1 out guys, the un-used players will be no lower rating of 70-80 max overall, theyre attributes are most suited to their position, also no more small GK's and normal height finally, it's all fixed, also the players on the pitch look alot bigger now

8. More than 1 Account - Yes you can have multiple accounts but you will have to build your VP from scratch, you use the same code for every different account, there is NO cost at all
