The Shows Mostly Formerly Affiliated with NBC's Thursday Night Comedy Block Thread **SPOILERS**

In spite of the fact that all of NBC's broad comedies failed this year. And Mulaney supposedly didn't get picked up because "comedy geeks" liked it but some executive or other didn't. Ugh NBC.

Their excuse/reason for not picking up The Sixth Gun is pretty awful too. "Looked like a geeky Syfy show, not a big network show"...what the what? The hottest shows on TV right now are "geeky".

I'm going to at bare minimum try to watch most if not all of seasons 2 and 3 of The Office to remind me how much I used to love this show. The season 2 premiere has aged really, really well.

I'm going to at bare minimum try to watch most if not all of seasons 2 and 3 of The Office to remind me how much I used to love this show. The season 2 premiere has aged really, really well.

Earlier this year I watched Seasons 3 thru 7 and I found that it all holds up really well, right to the end of Steve Carrell's tenure.

But the finale was just...perfect. So many Easter Eggs and every loose end felt natural and true to the characters.

But my gosh...I'm just glad we got to see Michael Scott once more and one more classic Michael talking head.

Also, not sure if you saw a Roy cameo but he looked terrible

Behind the cut are the episodes I watched in the last 24 hours leading up to the finale; "The Dundies," "Sexual Harassment," "Office Olympics," "The Fire," "Halloween," "The Client," "Christmas Party," "Booze Cruise," "Dwight's Speech," "Take Your Daughter to Work Day," "Casino Night," "Gay Witch Hunt," "The Coup," "Initiation," "Diwali," "Branch Closing," "Business School," "Local Ad," "Broke," "Niagra," and "Goodbye Michael."

I wish I had watched more. I wish I'd gotten the entire Michael Scott Paper Company arc in, and "Benihana Christmas," and "Ben Franklin," and "The Duel," and so much more. Even just from watching that selection of episodes I got to see so much that would be echoed in the finale.

Great episode. Great, great episode. I'm glad The Office is over but I'll miss it too.

Also, I don't think that was Roy. I'm assuming you mean the guy at the party in the warehouse who looked like Ethan Suplee.

So.. yeah. The story has been corroborated a few places in the comments on the reddit article I found this on.

More info is coming out about it.

Harmon and Chris McKenna have both been asked back for what looks like will be the last season of the show.

He also stated he was drunk before a few of those tweets last night. :shifty:

His tweets today are what makes it seem like it. It could be a joke but it'd be a bit weird to continue joking about it 12 hours later.
