Fun news on that, by the way: a couple of years back Paradox actually hired the Magna Mundi team to basically make a full game version of the mod, financed it, let them use the original code, the whole deal. The team spent two years missing deadlines, submitting stuff that was full of bugs, bitching about each other, and generally wasting time. A week or two ago Paradox announced they were cancelling the contract because they'd given up hope of ever seeing the final product. The thread they announced it in is full of Magna Mundi fanboys asking HOW DARE Paradox do such a thing and saying they're going to boycott
