Very true, and perhaps the tradition and longevity of the English league affects how we look at names like Sheffield Wednesday and Arsenal.

Got to say I don't like the practice of naming MLS teams like 'Real Salt Lake' and 'Sporting Kansas' or 'FC Dallas'. The only reason those prefixes are as such for the teams they've taken the idea from is the language. Dallas FC would be fine, as would Kansas Sporting Club or something. The fact Real Salt Lake's name combines two languages completely just annoys me a bit.

Obviously not a major issue mind.

I don't have a problem with MLS names by and large. It is their way of naming sports teams, and we have our own.
