I've purposely left a few off, and probably should have left a few more off. I'm looking at you Body of Lies and The Beach.

The Departed, Catch Me if You Can & Shutter Island. The Departed is the best film - his performances are probably slightly better in the other two.

The Departed, both in terms of overall film quality and performance, because he managed to get me to take that scrawny kid from The Titanic seriously as a bad ass. Though shamefully I'm yet to sit down and give Gangs of New York a proper watch, I've only ever seen an hour or so.

The Departed. But I also really dug Inception, but it's not a film I'm too desperate to watch again. Need to rewatch Catch Me If You Can now I'm older, too. Fully expect Django Unchained to give me something to think about when it comes out.

It's a long one, but worth watching. Dicaprio is very good in it, but honestly, Daniel Day Lewis steals the fucking show in that one, it's one of my favorite performances in any movie ever.

The Beach is quite literally the worst film I've ever had the displeasure of seeing. It's woeful and anyone who's watched it should go and somehow get it permanently erased from their mind and then go read the book instead.

As for best Leo film, Departed is probably the 'best' film he's been in but his performance in Shutter Island is glorious and he deserves all the praise he can get for that one. Inception and Catch Me If You Can are always ruddy good.

I have absolutely no idea why this is even a thread. What prompted this?

I hate the guy, and I have actively avoided most films he's in, or else just not seen them. So I'll say Romeo & Juliet, because it's stylised pap, but it's Shakespeare.
