What does him having a high value have to do with there not being many English players in the league? Barkley, a top young English talent, plays in the top league in England and is growing to become an indispensable asset to Everton F.C. Of course they're going to say that to ward other teams off of coming after him, if they even said anything about him being valued that highly.
